ABSTRACT
The oriental Herbal Nutrient (OHN ) is a very important input in Natural Farming. It is made from herbs
which are full of energy and function to increase plant robustness, to sterilize and keep plants warm.
OHN revitalizes crops and activates their growth. It is made from popular oriental herbs such as Angelica,
Ginger, Garlic, Licorice and Cinnamon that are fermented, not boiled, to maintain the vigorous growth of
crops.

and financial support to fulfill the project.

resources, and to her subject teacher Ms. Maria Khaire A. Jacob for helping and guiding her to
make this research possible.
Third, to her classmates and friends for letting her use their phone to search part of her topic
and for helping her to provide some materials that she needed for her research paper. And
Lastly, to our Almighty God who give her strength in her daily lives and inspired her to make her
day complete and keep her strong to survive her life everyday and face the trials and problem.

INTRODUCTION
Oriental Herbal Nutrient (OHN), a fermented extract of herbs is used is Natural Farming to
provide plants and soil microorganisms with micro-nutrients, which may optimize their resilience to
environmental stresses (wind, heat, drought, etc.). OHN is a mixture of edible, aromatic herbs
extracted with alcohol and fermented with brown sugar. It is used to discourage the growth of
anaerobic, potentially pathogenic microbes and encourage beneficial aerobic microbes in the soil and
on plants.). These herbs are used in the creation of OHN.

Based on the findings and conclusions from the study the researcher came up with the following

1. The researcher recommends that OHN is an alternative product to use in organic farming
