4. A company pays salespeople a commission of 4% on the first ₱ 20 000 of sales, 8% on sales over
₱ 20 000, and up to ₱ 40 000, and 10% commission on sales above ₱ 40 000. The highest-selling
salesperson had ₱ 150 000 in sales. What commission did the salesperson earn?

5. Kyle’s real estate agency pays her 1% commission on the first ₱ 500 000 of sale price, then 4%
thereafter. How much commission would he receive on the sale of a property worth:
