Figure 3 Exhibit featuring the modern art Figure 4 Paintings of the Group 2
assigned a style/s for them to base their
works. Eventhough the time to prepare is short yet they’ve still done a wonderdul job.
This exhibit does not only showcase the talents of the students but how they appreciate
t he ways or styles back then who are uderrated and neglected. Students were able to
realize that you are free to express your own style disregarding the possible negative
impression of the audience. Students were also able to illuminate the minds of the
people to be aware of what issues are happening by expressing their own points of view
about the issue just like how the Painting of Wilfredo P. Caseres Jr.,Refection of Reality,
which depicts the standards of beauty in this century. The art that these students had
made is revolutionary for the fact that this genertion has something to bring in the future
such as inspiration and ideas for innovation in the near future. Their futures are like a
blank canvans, blank and not certain, their future is in thier hands as they stroke the
paintbrush everytime they learn and move they are continously covering the canvas.
They are certain now that whatever might be the look of that painting on the canvas it it
their choice and destiny.
Queen Elizabeth II
This artwork is inspired by Queen Elizabeth II and uses Neoprimitivism approach
in art. It utilizes the use of incorporated elements from the native arts used by South
Sea Islanders. It highlights the use of oral and elongated shapes.

Refection of Reality
This artwork was inspired by A. Smith “Reflection of a Queen.” It express Social
Realism style of art. Which means Reflection of Reality, depicts the struggles of Beauty
Queens and how society demands how they should view themselves. It is an ugly truth
about beauty pageants and how the standards of beauty shapes them as a woman
physically, emotionally and mentally. It is a clear depiction that it is a struggle to look
good for the public’s eyes. And that your life should be how the society views it and is
according to its demands (it includes the way you think, the way you dress and your
way of lifestyle). This artwork expresses the message that happiness is letting go of
what you think your life to look like and celebrating it for everything that it is. You can
never please everyone. Because if you do, you can never be truly happy.

Vow to Thee, My Country
This painting was inspired by our beloved country, Philippines, in our flag it has
four color: the yellow, white, red, and blue. My inspiration on this painting is the
challenges and trials that we encountered in our country before. My art was a product of
devotion, love, faith, and loyalty towards my country. My painting consists of 4 colors
also. My painting was a product of a real Filipino.

Dying Planet
This painting is the result of my love, concern and awareness towards our nature.
I made this painting so that people around me will be aware of what is happening to our
beloved mother earth. The red color reprents to us, we are slowly burning and killing our
planet, the blue one represents our stunning oceans and blue and yellow color below
are the precious gems, gold and other expensive stones. In this part I want people to
realize that they are slowly destroying this beautiful creatures. The color green
respresents the nature. We already abused the nature. I made this painting to inspire
people to save the mother earth.

Beyond imagination
Dadaism was a style characterized by dream fantasies, memory images, and
visual tricks and surprises. This painting is inspired by aesthetic works. This artwork
shows hope. Hope for my country that it’s not yet the end. The color of the waves
represents my country that is full of corrupt government. I used the light colors for the
surroundings for it represents hope. Hope for my hopeless dark country. I entitled this
“Beyond Imagination” because this is what my imagination looks like for my country, to
rise up and not to give up. And when that day comes, I can no longer says that it is just
an imagination. ‘
