1. How does Science and technology affect contemporary life or vice versa?

Science and technology makes our lives easier and faster. The way we base our
lives to science and technology, pave way in giving these sectors attention and
improving them to satisfy our needs and wants. And after creating something through
science and technology, human utilize it in their lives and after such time, human will
crave for something more and will improve the state of science technology and value
them more. Then, the cycle goes on and on.

2. How do we protect our human rights in the face of technological advancements and
ethical dilemmas?

The primary solution to this problem is to pass laws concerning the protection of
rights of human amidst the shift to advance technology. Moral an ethics being the basis
of laws will surely hold the humans in place as long as the laws made are viable and for
common good.

3. Do you believe that Google makes people stupid? Cite at least three examples to
support your assertion.

Yes. Humans’ critical thinking became low because we believe that there is
Google that will provide us all the data we need. Humans lose seeing the other
perspective, or the ones that oppose their belief. Since Google is presenting data
that we want or abased on our previous searches, it excludes data that will go
against our belief and put it in later part of the search results. Who bother to open
the second page of the search result right? Lastly, as we became fond of Google,
we lose ability to read. We do not read more article to justify one point and settle for
the idea of “Google made it as a top result so this should be the most appropriate
article for my topic. Other articles are not needed anymore. Time will be wasted if I
read more.”

4. Read the entirety of Joy’s article. Why the future does does not need us anymore?

To sum up the article, it all boils down on robots being the products of humans
but humans are bound to be “domestic animals” of robots. Excerpt from the article,
“Human race might easily permit itself to drift into a position of such independence
on the machines that it would have no practical choice but to accept all the
machines’ decisions. Machine-made decisions will bring better results than man-
made ones.” Moreover, time will come that even plants will invade the earth and in
less than a month, humans will be gone. Future does not need humans anymore
because of humans own product. It seems that we will serve us puppets to those
elites and these people will be the one to decide if our race will be gone or continue
to prosper but with implant programs in the human mind. It is further stressed that
ones robots will be able to replicate itself, humans will be the slave of technology.
Why would future need useless humans if robots are enough?
