    Motivation Letter

    I wish to apply to the Russian Government Scholarship for Master of Business Administration
    program. This program is a solid step towards my future career as a businessperson who
    understands and appreciates science and technology. My ultimate career idea is to hold a
    management position in banking or a consulting company.

    In 2018, I earned a BBA degree with a specialization in Finance from University of the Punjab,
    Pakistan. Benefiting from the broad nature of Management, I have been exposed to a extensive
    range of subjects from Business Management. Having studied the specialized courses, I have
    acquired the essential skills of systematic research, strategic management, analytical thinking
    and financial analysis. Most prominently, they provided me with insight into business
    management combining with financial analysis.

    I was in general among the top three students in my classes. Furthermore, I was privileged to be
    the only student of my class who won the Merit Scholarship in University of the Punjab. I have
    worked on some projects to actualize and implement the theoretical knowledge of Strategic
    Management, Financial Analysis Techniques, Business Models into practical work in Brief Study
    of Karachi Stock Exchange 100 index and Muslim Commercial Bank (Statistical Analysis of Share
    price of Muslim Commercial Bank), Brief Study of International Accounting Standards, Strategic
    Case Study Analysis of Apple Inc. (Strategic Management).After graduating, I am appointed as
    an Accountant in a private firm.

    By studying at the, I acquainted with standard business practices and gained a deeper
    appreciation of the investment framework. I especially enjoyed deeper use of accounting
    principles and financial analysis. After six months of intensive study.

    Aside from the favorable learning environment, I most enjoyed its learning freedoms. With
    acquiescence, I attended some workshops. These workshops broadened my view of techniques
    of managerial accounting and financial management.

    Apart from my studies and professional life, I acted as a student leader at our student union and
    volunteered in other activities such as Literary Society, Event Management Spciety. Also, I
    worked as a teaching assistant to Lecturer Haroon Iqbal University of the Punjab, Pakistan and
    assistant of operations manager in the summer internship at National Bank of Pakistan. Through
    these experiences, I strengthened my interpersonal skills by working with fellow team members
    and others.
    There are some key reasons why I want to study at this program. First, I selected this program
    because of its primary focus on business with the expectation that students already possess a
    strong understanding of science. Second, Mr. Haroon my teacher, has provided me with his
    thoughts about the program. From our conversations, I became excited to learn about the
    courses such as accounting and finance in a broader way. Third, I wish to grow to be a manager
    who can combine the finance with the art of management.
