    1) An inspector from IKA Engineering conducted a pre-shipment inspection of 176 RO membrane cartons from Hydranautics to Gewaco FZE. 2) The inspector was only able to visually inspect the outside of the cartons and check quantities against the packing list, as the supplier did not allow opening of the cartons. 3) The inspector found that the carton quantities, markings, and packaging were consistent with the packing list but could not inspect the actual membranes. The inspector will return for a second visit to open the cartons.

    allowed to open the boxes and hence membrane hasn’t been inspected by the inspector.
