    I. RATIONALE:
    Filipinos are reach in culture & traditions. Part of these
    are the so called “Laro ng Lahi” or Larong Pinoy. Sadly, these
    traditions are gradually forgotten by the younger generations.
    Their exposures to handy & techie gadgets have limited their
    exposures to the streets, open fields and dusty backyards—the
    battlefields of these so called Larong Pinoy. It is a challenge for us,
    who have once lived in the realms of the laughter-filled streets of
    not-so-long-ago, to relive the spirit of camaraderie & sportsmanship
    through these games.
    This year’s activity not only aims to look back to the
    yesteryears of cooperative progress but also wants to parallel what
    was learned through the years in the values foretold by our Laro
    ng Lahi.

    III. POINT SYSTEM
    Teams will be battling each other for points. “Rewards
    and Demerit” shall be used—each winning team will garner an
    advance point against losing teams. Likewise, teams who doesn’t
    comply with the standards (punctuality, unsportsmanship-
    conduct, etc.) will lose points.

    IV. GAMES & MECHANICS


    The Games are divided into: A. REGULAR GAMES
    B. SPECIAL EVENTS
    C. SURPRISE GAMES
    A. REGULAR GAMES (DAY 1, 7:30-11:30 AM, 1:00-5:00 PM)
    1. PALO SEBO (FLAG RAISING)
    • Instead of the traditional flag-raising, color groups need to raise
    their team colors up in the air through the game of Palo Sebo.
    • Number of Players: One per team
    • Point System: 1st – 50 points

    • Number of Players: 2 per team (1 Male & 1 Female)
    • Each team will be given 10 marbles and a sling shot
    Point System:
    Total accumulated points.
