Introduction
Udaipur is known as the City of Lakes and is a popular tourism site due to its Rajput palaces, and scenic
nature. It is also known for its handicrafts and rich mineral sector. The spots to visit in Udaipur is
synonymous with magnificence, legacy, lavishness, and sovereignty. From royal architecture and quiet
lakes to heavenly food, and bright strip malls — the royal city has everything. Presumably, this city is a
heritage tourist destination and has been pulling in sightseers from everywhere throughout the world to
its lakes and royal residences. Directly here, in this city, one will get the opportunity to observe a diverse
combination of what's gone and what's on. Each upcoming year the tourist influx increases. Udaipur city
stands for second most incoming tourists in the state of Rajasthan after its capital city Jaipur.

Research objectives:
The list of the objectives for the following report is:

Primary objectives

• To study about the Udaipur city as a tourist attraction.

Secondary objectives

• To study about various effects of tourism and tourists on the culture and heritage of
Udaipur city.
• To study about the effects of Heritage as an attraction on tourism and tourists.
• To study about the government interference in the marketing and improvement of
Udaipur tourism with reference to culture and heritage.
Research methodology:
1. Data source: primary and secondary
2. Research approach:
Stage1: it is consist of descriptive research using survey method.
Stage2: it will be including exploratory research consisting of detailed secondary search with the help of
newspaper, governmental publication, references book, and internet blogs of website.

3. Research instrument: questioner.


4. Sampling plan:
a. extent : city of Udaipur
b. sampling method : random sample sampling
c. sampling size: 20
d. primary data: questionnaires and interview
5. Method of data analysis: based on in depth literature review and its relevant with
present study the various statistical techniques will be used at the late stage of the study
mainly% average, statistical chart and graph will be used.

Limitations of the study


The proposed research work has mostly confined within the legal regime of
Udaipur & Its Impact on Tourism of Udaipur.


The research is done with the help of magazines and websites, thus the facts
and figures may vary according to the year.
