Oracle Data Integrator Development which is part of the Autonmous Data Platform is
looking for hands-on experience in developing the next generation of Oracle data
integration products, using cutting-edge technologies? Oracle’s data integration
products are deployed by thousands of enterprise customers to integrate data across
their applications within and across enterprises, and for building data-warehousing and
business intelligence solutions.
The purpose of the Autonomous Data Platform is to make it extremely easy for
customers to consolidate their data and help them run all their workloads on the
Autonomous Database.
We are looking for hands-on experience in developing the next generation of ADP
products, using cutting-edge technologies for ODI product space -for both backend and
ui.
Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) solves the challenge of integrating data and applications
throughout the enterprise, to address top business imperatives such as business
intelligence, data-warehousing, data quality, data synchronization and metadata
integration across OLTP applications, and data access and transformation needs in a
service oriented architecture (SOA) environment. ODI supports complex transformation
rules in data integration flows, and its scalable architecture takes advantage of various
hardware architectures to enable horizontal and vertical scaling to support large data
volumes. ODI provides high availability (HA) of integration operations without single
points of failure, and built-in metadata extensibility and knowledge-modules (KMs)
enables customers and partners to easily extend the product to meet custom integration
needs. ODI provides real-time data integration, processing events and data changes
through its advanced Changed Data Capture (CDC) capability. ODI also works well with
Oracle SOA products, providing integration support for large volume data transformation
services in business flows.

Desired Skill Set(ADP Backend):


6+ years experience ,BS/MS in Computer Science or related fields
Design, implement, test and maintain features or enhancements to existing
components.
Experience with Core Java, J2EE,SQL and XML
Experience with Object-Relational persistence frameworks (TopLink/EclipseLink,
Hibernate, etc) and transaction management
Object-oriented design and programming
Basic Database knowledge
Strong software engineering and debugging skills

Detailed Description and Job Requirements


Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases,
applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and
developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of
software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other
software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing
software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully
competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower
level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
4 years of software engineering or related experience.
