ABOUT THE COMPANY
“Deloitte” is a brand under which tens of thousands of dedicated professionals in independent
firms throughout the world collaborate to provide audit, consulting, financial advisory, risk
management, tax, and related services to select clients. These firms are members of Deloitte
Touche Tohmatsu Limited, a UK private company limited by guarantee (“DTTL”). Each DTTL
member firm provides services in particular geographic areas and is subject to the laws and
professional regulations of the particular country or countries in which it operates.
Each DTTL member firm is structured in accordance with national laws, regulations, customary
practice, and other factors, and may secure the provision of professional services in its territory
through subsidiaries, affiliates, and other related entities. Not every DTTL member firm provides
all services, and certain services may not be available to attest clients under the rules and
regulations of public accounting.
DTTL and each DTTL member firm are legally separate and independent entities, which cannot
obligate each other. DTTL and each DTTL member firm are liable only for their own acts and
omissions, and not those of each other. DTTL (also referred to as “Deloitte Global”) does not
provide services to clients.
In the last 150 years the organization has grown in scale and diversity—approximately 263,000
people in 150 countries and territories, providing audit, tax, legal, financial advisory, risk advisory,
and consulting services—yet the shared culture remains the same. Deloitte Global reported
aggregate member firm revenue of US$46.2 billion for the fiscal year ended 31 May 2019
(FY2019). This is an 7 percent revenue increase of US$3 billion.
In the United States, Deloitte LLP is the member firm of DTTL. Deloitte LLP does not provide
services to clients. Instead, services are primarily provided by the subsidiaries of Deloitte LLP,
including:
Deloitte LLP helps coordinate the activities of these subsidiaries. Deloitte LLP and these
subsidiaries are separate and distinct legal entities. Each of these subsidiaries is organized under
Delaware law, is separately capitalized, has its own Chairman and CEO and Board of Directors,
and provides a distinct array of services.
3|Page
When a firm contract for the provision of services with one of the subsidiaries of Deloitte LLP,
only that subsidiary is responsible for the provision of those services and is the only entity with
potential liability for any claims that may arise in connection with such services. Certain services
may not be available to attest clients under the rules and regulations of public accounting. Deloitte
LLP is a partner driven firm and not a listed company.
CULTURE
Our culture is our competitive advantage. As part of a global organisation, with one underlying mission, the
people of Deloitte share a common vision and set of beliefs. These fundamental elements define who we are
and distinguish us in the eyes of our clients and our people. We constantly work on:
Turning the latest thinking, experience and knowledge of processes and technologies into intelligent and
practical solutions
Building enduring relationships founded on mutual respect for diversity of thought and background, and
on the strong belief that teamwork invariably produces the best results
Being clear and concise in our communications, straight in our dealings with people and open in our
approach

Deloitte India (Offices of the US) is a region within the Deloitte US organization, with offices across eight cities in India.
In the United States, Deloitte LLP is the member firm of DTTL. Deloitte LLP does not provide services to clients.
Instead, services are primarily provided by the subsidiaries of Deloitte LLP, including:
1. Deloitte & Touche LLP

4. Deloitte Tax LLP
Deloitte LLP helps coordinate the activities of these subsidiaries and these subsidiaries are only responsible to fulfil its

Deloitte INDIA
In the late 1990s, Deloitte commenced operations in India, at the same time as another large auditing firm KPMG.
In India, ICAI regulations do not permit foreign firms to carry out audits in India. Hence, Deloitte carries out audits in
India under the name of C.C.Chokshi & Co., an existing auditing firm that it arranged an agreement with 1998. In 1992,
after India was forced to liberalise under one of the conditions of the World Bank and IMF sponsored bail out, Deloitte
was granted a license to operate in India. It subsequently purchased C.C.Chokshi & Co and now conducts audits in India
under the name of this firm.
