ABOUT THE COMPANY
“Deloitte” is a brand under which tens of thousands of dedicated professionals in independent
firms throughout the world collaborate to provide audit, consulting, financial advisory, risk
management, tax, and related services to select clients. These firms are members of Deloitte
Touche Tohmatsu Limited, a UK private company limited by guarantee (“DTTL”). Each DTTL
member firm provides services in particular geographic areas and is subject to the laws and
professional regulations of the particular country or countries in which it operates.

Each DTTL member firm is structured in accordance with national laws, regulations, customary
practice, and other factors, and may secure the provision of professional services in its territory
through subsidiaries, affiliates, and other related entities. Not every DTTL member firm provides
all services, and certain services may not be available to attest clients under the rules and
regulations of public accounting.

DTTL and each DTTL member firm are legally separate and independent entities, which cannot
obligate each other. DTTL and each DTTL member firm are liable only for their own acts and
omissions, and not those of each other. DTTL (also referred to as “Deloitte Global”) does not
provide services to clients.

In the last 150 years the organization has grown in scale and diversity—approximately 263,000
people in 150 countries and territories, providing audit, tax, legal, financial advisory, risk advisory,
and consulting services—yet the shared culture remains the same. Deloitte Global reported
aggregate member firm revenue of US$46.2 billion for the fiscal year ended 31 May 2019
(FY2019). This is an 7 percent revenue increase of US$3 billion.

3|Page

may not be available to attest clients under the rules and regulations of public accounting. Deloitte
LLP is a partner driven firm and not a listed company.

DELOITTE LOGO SIGNIFICANCE

Deloitte Logo, the green dot

Deloitte green dot (introduced in 2003) – It’s a shorthand when the company talks to the
outside world. Important issues and the clients we want to attract all over the world. The
green dot is simple. But the possibilities are endless. The green dot has a point of view.
Something that will engage the minds of the audience. The green dot helps us to focus the
attention of the audience instantly. On top of that, the Background of the logo is made black.
To stand out from the rest.
“The bold and striking visual style of the campaign, with the Deloitte green dot as the hero set against a black
or white background, perfectly captures the clarity, leadership and direction of Deloitte's point of view in a
way that is unique and unforgettable, akin to our brand promise,” said Luis Gallardo, global director-brand
and marketing at Deloitte. “Ultimately, the green dot represents our unique point of view, our people's voice
to clients.”

PREVIOUS LOGO

The blue on the logo transitioned to black and white in 2016, making the signature green dot stand out
even more.

Why the rebrand?

“We don’t know what communication gadgets will dominate our lives 13 years from now — or even five years from
now. What is indispensable today can become stale quickly. What we do know, however, is that the importance of
making an impact that matters will endure. Our Purpose is timeless. And our brand identity will continue to modernize,
as we need it to, to ensure Deloitte always stands out among our competitors.”

Deloitte INDIA
In the late 1990s, Deloitte commenced operations in India, at the same time as another large auditing firm KPMG.
In India, ICAI regulations do not permit foreign firms to carry out audits in India. Hence, Deloitte carries out audits in
India under the name of C.C.Chokshi & Co., an existing auditing firm that it arranged an agreement with 1998. In 1992,
after India was forced to liberalise under one of the conditions of the World Bank and IMF sponsored bail out, Deloitte
was granted a license to operate in India. It subsequently purchased C.C.Chokshi & Co and now conducts audits in India
under the name of this firm.
