    "ALGAHER S.A. declares that the joints provided to DESARRO-
    LLOS HIDRÁULICOS S-F, S.L. are made of a polymeric compound
              
    based on EPDM and therefore present an excellent resistance
    
    to aging, are weatherproof and support elevated temperatures.
    They are also resistant to ozone, oxidation, water steam, alkalis,
    
    acids and even oxidizing acids. In general, they are resistant to
    
    all chemical
     compounds that are
       not 
     hydrogen  carbonates. The
      
    life span of these materials depends directly on the medium
                
    and the contad conditions with the medium. Therefore, the joint's
    
    life expectancy will be more than 30 years."
