Nadi System of Astrology

In the nadi system of astrology, to arrive at the prediction part, it is necessary to know

1. The characteristics of the respective planets

2. The caustivity of respective planets.

3. Their directional asecpects.

4. The sign in which the respective planets are posited.

5. The 2nd,5th,7th,9th and 11th signs from such planets

6. Friendly and inimical aspects of the respective planets.

It is traditionally common amongest most of the astrologers to consider the ascendant as

the most important aspect in predictional astrology.

These astrologers consider the lagna or the ascendant as representing the person of the
native. But in the nadi system of astrology, in a male horoscope Jupiter represnts the
native and in female horoscope venus represnts the native. In the nadi system, signs ,
degrees, minutes and seconds of planets positions are extremely important for
predictions. The 12 bhavas are divided amongest the 9 planets whether it is nadi system
or any other system, signs , degrees, minutes and seconds showing the motions of the
planets nad their causitivity are very important.

Mind, Intellect and ego always prevail in all living beings. The combination of planets, at
the time of birth ascribes specific characters to the native.

For example, when a baby is born at a time when sun rays are falling on mars, the

Rules to Follow - House of Profession

Saturn is the only planet to indicate Profession both for male and female natives

If the saturn is Retro, then the casuatives of the planets positioned in previous sign from
a sign wherein Saturn is Retrograded , should also be incorporated while considering
profession

If Saturn is Retro in Aries , which is east, its previous sign pisces is north. Besides this,
Cancer and Scorpio are also north signs.

Therefore the combination of various planets and their casuatives should be

incorporated along with Saturn while delineating the profession.

If Saturn is not Retrograded, then the same and similar directional signs to be considere
along with the sign where saturn is positioned.

The character attributed to the rashi as well as the casuatives of the planet situated
alongwith the Saturn should also be considered

The Seventh House from a rashi where Saturn is positioned is an aspecting sign. The
third and eleventh sign from that of the above Seventh sign will become the same
directional signs.

For example :
If Saturn is positioned in cancer which is a North direction, the seventh house to cancer
is capricorn, which is a south direction and at the same time, third house there from
virgo is of south direction and the eleventh house there from cancer is taurus will also
become south direction.

Therefore third, seventh and eleventh signs are mutually aspecting rashis. Thereby , the
planets positioned in virgo, capricorn will become effective on saturn positioned in
cancer. The planets positioned in those signs have effective aspect on saturn.

The planets positioned in fifth, ninth sign from a sign where saturn is positioned are
considered as they are in conjunction with saturn. The planets positioned in third,
seventh and eleventh signs are considerd to be aspecting planets to saturn.

The planets positioned along with Saturn or Saturn get exchanged with any other planet
to their respective own houses , then the causative of those exchanged planets should

Basics of Nadi Astrology

The important thing one has to understand here is that each of the nadis use different
techniques for predictions.

The different kinds of nadis are Bhrigu nandi nadi, Sukar nadi, Siva vakya nadi,
Agastiyar nadi, sani nadi,budha nadi, guru nadi,ganesha nadi, kumara nadi, kamakshi
nadi, jeeva nadi, saptarishi nadi etc.
Bhrighu nandi nadi is a type of nadi where sage bhrigu discusses with lord
nandikeshwara about the patterns of destiny in various people's life.

The position of Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu is very helpful for nadi astrologers, while
instant predictions.

As per nadi astrology remedial measures mainly stress on the native going to a temple,
donations of food items or articles and chanting mantras. The chanting mantras based
on vimshottari dasha and bhukthi/antr lord.

The broad-based pattern of ones life can be easily deciphered useing the nadi principles.
