WE USE PRESENT PROGRESIVES TO TALK ABOUT ACTIVITIES IN PROGRESS AND ACTIVITIES IN A SHORT
FUTURE. FOR EXAMPLE:

A) ACTIVITIES IN PROGRESS: I AM WRITING IN THIS MOMENT.

B) ACTIVITIES IN FUTURE: I AM GOING TO THE BEACH AT 2:00 PM
