    PROJECT DETAILS:

    1. Automatic side stand retrieval system for bike

    Description:

    It is an additional attachment for the bike which pulls up the side stand automatically when the bike
    moves forward. We used a sprocket which is rotated by the chain drive of bike and a lever is
    attached to the stand. When the bike moves forward the sprocket rotates and nicks the lever attached
    to the stand and due to the tension in the spring of the stand, the stand gets retrieved.

    Responsibilities:
     Designed the cad models.
     Took care of the welding required to manufacture the prototype.
    2. Manufacturing of connecting rod on CNC Vertical milling
    machine

    Responsibilities:
     Written whole part program for machining. 

    PROFESSIONAL TRAINING:

     Pursued one month training in BHARATH DYNAMICS LIMITED where I have learned
    about various manufacturing and testing machines and part programming on a cnc machine. 

     Pursued six months industrial training in HINDUSTHAN MACHINE TOOLS and learned
    about the working of various conventional machines like lathe machine, milling machine,
    planner machine, CNC Plano milling.

    ACHIEVEMENTS:
    . 
     Secured first place in the “SCIENCE FARE “event conducted at REVATHI HIGH SCHOOL. 

     Participated in SAE BAJA event in 2016 and 2017. 
