    United by our passion to serve the University and the country, ​BANTAY BOTO 2019 is an alliance of
    youth organizations and councils in UP Diliman, Philippine Normal University, Pamantasan ng Lungsod
    ng Maynila, and Polytechnic University of the Philippines. We work towards promoting critical and honest
    elections with the strength of the youth in forwarding the true voices of the Filipino people.

    On ​March 21, 8am-5pm ​we will have a ​University-wide ​Mock Senatorial Elections 2019, ​conducted
    online at ​isurvey.asia/UPDMockElections​. We hope to partner with your organization on this endeavor
    by being a ​signatory of the manifesto of unity ​that we will release, and by securing a minimum of 20
    voters for the mock elections from your organization. It is high time that we forward the voices of every
    Iskolar ng Bayan as we work towards our goal of strengthening our democratic institutions and fighting for
    our democratic rights.

    With your help, the advocacy to foster responsible and critical Filipino citizens has a higher chance of

    ISKOLAR NG BAYAN PARA SA MALINIS NA HALALAN 
     
    Bilang mga Iskolar ng Bayan, mga konseho ng mag-aaral, at mga organisasyon na 
    nagsusulong ng progresibong administrasyon, nagpapanday ng ating demokrasya, at 
    lumalaban para sa ating mga demokratikong karapatan, kami ay nananawagan para sa 
    isang halalan na magdadala ng boses ng masang Pilipino.  
     
    Sa panahon na tinatapakan ang karapatan ng mga kabataan at ng mga mamayang 
    Pilipino, tayo ay nararapat na manindigan at lumaban. Lumaban para sa tunay na libre, 
    de kalidad, at aksesibleng edukasyon para sa lahat. Tumindig para sa karapatan ng 
    mga magsasaka para sa kanilang sariling lupa sa porma ng tunay na repormang 
    agraryo. Umaklas para sa sapat na pasahod at pagpapatigil ng kontraktwalisasyon sa 
    hanay ng mga manggagawa. Makiisa sa laban ng mga pambansang minorya para sa 
    kanilang sariling lupa at tutulan ang nagpapatuloy na Martial Law sa Mindanao. 
    Labanan ang abuso at diskriminasyon sa mga kababaihan at LGBTQ+ Community at sa 
    paglaya ng kasarian. Tutulan ang patuloy na pagpapahirap ng estado sa kanyang mga 
    mamamayan. 
     
    Ngayong nalalapit na National Elections, kinakailangang suriin ang bitbit na isyu at 
    adbokasiya ng mga kandidato upang hindi mauwi sa personalidad ang basehan. 
    Bumoto sa mga kandidatong tunay na magdadala ng isyu ng masang inaapi at 
    pinagsasamantalahan. 
     
    Sulong, pag-asa ng bayan!
