1.0 PROBLEM OR ISSUE THAT WE WANT TO SOLVE
Some of university students have a problem to participate and doing some sport
practices because sometimes they will not be able to use sport facilities such as
court, field and so on. It is because there are many students in a university, so that
sometimes it can be overlapping between who want to use all of the facilities in the
first place.
2.0 SCOPE
• To provide a booking table which include days, time, and how many students
booked.
• To provide news to students to know what are the latest information of sports in
the university.
3.0 OBJECTIVE
This system significantly for the students:

4.0 CURRENT USER PROBLEMS
The Students:
1. There are students that want to use the sport facilities but cannot use it due to the
overlapping usage from other students.
2. “First come, first serve” concept is currently the student use to reserve the facilities
and equipment provided and it is actually not too systematic and convenient.
3. There are students that still not familiar where the location of the sport facilities and
even do not know the availability of equipment and facilities provided by university
2. The sport department still struggle on improving the facilities since they do not
provide a medium where the students can complain or give any suggestions.
3. The university actually have a lot of students that have talents in variety of sports but
some of them not expose and participate in the certain sports due to the limit usage of
facilities.

5.0 TYPES OF REQUIREMENTS
• Functional requirements
– The booking system should allow users to book the facilities within their
schedule.
– Users should be able to register membership.
– The system should have interface that has the main menu to ease the user.
• Non-functional requirements
- The booking system should capable enough to load within 5 seconds with less
than 1000 users.
- Each an unsuccessful attempt by a user to book a court shall be recorded on
an audit trail.
- User should receive notification or alert box when the booking is successful.

7.0 ELABORATE TASK ANALYSIS
1) Check availability
User may check the availability and provided of facilities, the information will be shown
before user book.
User needs to choose which court/fitness class that they want. If the court and classes
still can join or people did not book yet then user can book.
3) Choose time
After the user chooses the court or class, they need also choose the time when they
want and if the time that they want is red colour then it already booked by someone.
If you already confirmed to book then you need to sign in to confirm that user is a
student or member of Cambridge university facility. The new participant also can book
by sign up first.
5) Booking Successful
After user sign in and submit the booking, then the court or class will be owned by
them at the time they book
