About Us
Dr Ketan Jathar did MBBS graduation from Pune university in 2000.Completed his
Master of Surgery course (DNB Ophthalmology) in 2005 from National Board,New
Delhi, followed by a 2 year fellow ship in Vitreoretinal disorders from the prestigious
Sankara Nethralaya eye institue, Chennai from 2006-08. He is into private practice
since 2008. He is specialized in treating various retinal disorders like retinal
detachment, diabetic retinopathy laser and surgery, ARMD and ROP.

Miraj in 2000. Completed her Master of Surgery course (DNB Ophthalmology) from
the National Board, New Delhi in 2007. She did a comprehensive ophthalmology
fellow ship course from HV Desai Eye Hospital, Pune. She is into private practice
since 2009. She is specialised in phacoemulsification cataract surgery, refractive
surgeries, glaucoma management and other anterior segment surgeries.

Diabetic laser treatment

Glaucoma Surgery
Glaucoma is a group of diseases affecting the optic nerve that results in vision loss
and is frequently characterized by raised intraocular pressure (IOP). There are many
types of glaucoma surgery, and variations or combinations of those types.
Phacoemulsification surgery
Phacoemulsification cataract surgery is a procedure in which an ultrasonic device is
used to break up and then remove a cloudy lens, or cataract, from the eye to improve
vision. The insertion of an intraocular lens (IOL) usually immediately follows
phacoemulsification.
Retina surgery
Retina is the light sensitive layer at the back part of eye, because of which we are able
to see. It can get affected by variety of conditions .
