    Subject- Revised Global Supply Chain Plan

    Dear Board of Directors,

    I would like to further explain the global supply chain model for Goel Sales Corporation,

    after carefully examining the strategy and making significant adjustments.

    After conducting a comprehensive budget review of our company's global supply chain

    programme, I found that the number of consumers and the market for the company's goods

    is increasing at a faster rate than the rise in the global supply chain programme 's budget.

    With the company's strong results, though, the promotion, distribution and analysis

    department's expenditure has been greatly expanded, creating a difficult situation for the

    logistical staff to deal with extra inventory storage and related costs. Therefore, I will

    recommend the Board of Directors to increase the funding of the company's supply chain

    programme in order to support the department so that they can perform their duties

    efficiently.

    Companies often have to address challenging circumstances in the case of a transition of

    political and economic danger. Our company’s business with Sri Lanka was going quite well

    due to the advantages of geographic position and political conditions between India and Sri
    Lanka. Sri Lanka is India's largest trade partner in SAARC. [ CITATION IND15 \l 16393 ]

    Nevertheless, after Coronavirus impact in all over the world, the economic condition has

    been disrupted which has also adversely disrupted trade and our supply chain in Sri Lanka. I

    think Sri Lanka is a fantastic market and has a lot of ability for our business.

    Our company's success has been really strong over the past 2 years thanks to the right

    decisions made by the Board of Directors and as a result of this company's revenues

    improved nationally and internationally. With the increase in revenue it has been harder for

    the company's existing suppliers to carry the pressure of increased revenues and this greatly

    impacts the company's profits. To ensure smooth global delivery of the company's goods, I

    will suggest that NIC corporation should be chosen as the company's additional vendor. It

    will also increase competitiveness among the vendors, thus resulting in improved vendor

    performance.

    The company's key goal is to improve revenue by growing its client base. The company's

    strategic supply chain strategy focuses on better customer support efficiency , reducing

    post-production inventory costs, ensuring all the suppliers work as effectively as possible

    and managing product demand and supply. If the business meets these strategic supply

    chain targets that would ultimately add to the accomplishment of the organisation's

    ultimate target.

    I will propose that the Board of Directors support this Strategy for the Global Supply Chain.
