    ROLE Power Evacuation


    LOCATION Gurgaon
    LEVEL Asst. Manager/ Deputy Manager
    REPORTS TO AVP

    RESPONSIBILITIES
     Detailed engineering, Project planning & Management :
    Electrical Balance of plant pertaining to Sub-station (up to 230 KV), Switching stations,
    and related transmission lines, from concept till commissioning of wind farm, which
    shall also involve
     Conducting power system feasibility studies- independently with in-house tools and
    jointly along with the utilities/consultants
     Creation of Technical Specification and Basic drawings (SLD, Layout etc.) for
    Substations & Transmission Lines and floating tenders for contract finalization.
     Review of designs that will meet industry standards and specifications, and meet
    good engineering practice with excellent constructability. Scrutinizing of civil
    engineering documents pertaining to eBoP systems of wind farm is desirable.
     Maintaining good working relationships with OEM’s, material suppliers, contractors,
    and any others that affect the quality, schedule and cost of projects.
     Monitoring Site progress for timely completion of project and if required visit to
    respective sites for work expedition.
     Draw up plans, proposals and budgets for new projects/extensions of projects in
    conjunction with the relevant team, and financial staff.
     Coordinating and facilitating the various support functionalities like land, legal,
    finance, installation and the operations team in their discharge of duties.
     Coordination and Support to Site O & M team for issues pertaining to eBOP,
    predictive & preventive maintenance and condition monitoring.

     Material Management & Quality Assurance:


    Material procurement, contracts management & vendor development including vendor
    identification, deployment requirement, rates and contract finalization, review of
    vendor performance and initiate remedy, and Quality assurance.

     Knowledge of drawing tools-AutoCAD, project management tools, MS-Projects/


    Primavera, MS-office etc.

    PROFILE
     EDUCATION: B.E. / B. Tech in electrical engineering from recognized institution like NIT/
    equiv. Candidates with management qualification would be preferred

     EXPERIENCE:
    o Min 6-8 years post qualification experience on the eBoP (electrical balance of
    plant) systems of wind renewable sector is desirable, half of which need
    compulsorily be field related.
    o Experience in EPC companies who deliver services to the renewable energy sector
    may be considered.
    o Experience in EPC companies dealing with High voltage electrical substation &
    transmission lines may also be considered

     INDUSTRY:
    o Renewable energy sector- Wind Power

    Note: The job shall involve some level of travel to wind farm sites across the country.
