The resolution noted that the trees posed a safety risk to nearby residents. All members of the Sangguniang Barangay were present and unanimously approved the resolution, which was certified by the Barangay Secretary and signed by the Punong Barangay and members.

    A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING THE MUNICIPAL RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT


    OFFICE (MDRRMO) TO CUT THE TWO (2) BREADFRUIT TREES LOCATED AT PUROK 3-BAYABAS,
    MAGALLANES, LIMASAWA, SOUTHERN LEYTE

    WHEREAS, it is the policy of the state to protect and advance the right of the people to a safety living;

    WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Magallanes find that the two (2) breadfruit trees located at Purok 3-
    Bayabas of this barangay are putting in risk the lives of people residing near on it;

    WHEREAS, there is a necessity to cut the said trees in order to give peace of mind for those people whose
    households are near the said trees;

    NOW THEREFORE, the Sangguniang Barangay in session duly assembled Resolves as it is hereby Resolved
    earnestly requesting the Municipal Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) to cut the two (2) breadfruit trees
    located at Purok 3-Bayabas;

    RESOLVED FURTHER, that the copies of this resolution be forwarded to the Municipal Risk Reduction and
    Management Office (MDRRMO) for their information and appropriate action;

    UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED, adopted on April 4, 2020 at Barangay Magallanes, Limasawa.
