Wheel Alignment

Caster Inspection Caster Adjustment

For proper inspection/adjustment of the wheel Caster angle can be adjusted by increasing/decreasing

Ball Joint Removal

Special Tools Required 4. Once the special tool is in place. turn the adjusting

Then hand-tighten the pressure bolt (B). and

to prevent damage to the threads end of the ball
joint.

2. Apply grease (A) to the special tool on the areas


shown. This will ease installation of the tool and
prevent damage to the pressure bolt (B) threads.

nut. After tightening, use a drift to stake the
spindle nut shoulder against the driveshaft.
o Before installing the wheel, clean the mating
surface of the brake disc and the inside of the
wheel.
26. Install the splash guard (C), and tighten the screws o Check the front wheel alignment, and adjust it if

Ball Joint Boot Replacement

Special Tools Required 5. For a lower ball joint. adjust the special tool with

Knuckle Replacement

1. Raise the rear ofthe vehicle, and make sure it is Special Tools Required
