Executive Report On Mask

1) The document proposes designing a reusable cloth mask that is affordable and comes with a size changer so it can be worn by people of different ages. 2) The mask would be made of two cotton cloth pieces stitched together with an adjustable elastic band and steel strap at the nose to prevent fogging. 3) It would cost between Rs. 50-70, making it affordable, and could be marketed through online retailers, word of mouth, and local stores to reach rural areas.

Executive Report on Mask

Introduction- With the rise in COVID-19 cases across the globe, the government policy has
made it mandatory for anyone stepping out of house to wear a mask and practice social
distancing. This pandemic has severely affected the poor and daily wage workers who sustain
on their daily income and are forced to step outside due to hunger. They can’t afford to
purchase fancy and branded mask which can protect them. Keeping in mind their persona, we
plan to design a reusable mask, the size of which can be altered depending upon the user’s
face size.
Procedure
1. First, we take two pieces of cotton cloth cut into the shape of mask and stitch them
together. The size of cloth is taken to be of average size keeping in mind the normal
face size.
2. A steel band is attached at the nose part so that it gets stuck to nose.
3. Comfortable elastic is banded on all the sides of the cloth.
4. A rubber elastic is stitched on both the sides of mask.
5. A size changer is made either from plastic or cardboard which can be fit backwards.
Value Proposition
1. The masks are re-usable, washable and available at an affordable price of Rs. 50-70
2. The size of masks can be changed and can be worn by any age group using size
changer which comes along with the mask.
3. The cloth used changes its color when a certain amount of dust or carbon dioxide
settles on it thus indicating that it needs to be washed.
4. The steel strap used at the nose part prevents any fog to escape out and can be used by
people wearing specs.
5. The elastic is made from soft material which doesn’t put any strain on the ears and
doesn’t cause rash or irritation.
Marketing Research
To conduct a research, we chose to follow a SWOT analysis.

 Affordable  Tie up with Amazon & Flipkart
 Changeable size  Word of Mouth marketing
 Reusable  Selling through kirana stores
 Comfortable Breathing  Tap into rural area
WEAKNESSES THREATS
 Slow returns and profits  Competition from pre-established

provide the best comfort while following government protocols.
