Error 1053: Could not start the Relyon License Manager .NET service on local
computer. The service did not respond to the start or control request in a
timely fashion

Error:
Could not start the Relyon License Manager .NET service on local computer. Error 1053: The service
did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

Causes:
Solution 1:
Check for the file “GetDiskSerial.dll” in service installed path, if not found paste it from the
application path(RELYON PRODUCTS).
Solution 2:
Open COMMAND PROMPT as administrator, then run the below command as applicable.
Solution 3:
NOTE: This Workaround is not applicable for windowsVista and above Operating system,
as .NET Framework is inbuilt in OPERATING system.

Framework and
Rename the folder “C:\WINDOWS\assembly” to “C:\WINDOWS\assembly_old”
Rename the folder “C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET” to “C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET_old”
Later try Re-installing .NET Framework
