However, Mauritius Port Authority has said they are unable to berth the ship due to a recent tragedy where one of their large tugboats sank, killing crew members.     MSC LIVORNO FY032R

    Kindly be advised MSC Livorno FY032R has been outside Port Louis since 09/09 waiting to
    berth. Mauritius Port Authority has informed late yesterday that they are unable to berth
    MSC Livorno FY032R. This is due to the tragedy, which has been publicised on various
    media platforms, of the sinking on their large tugboats which also cost the lives of crew
    members. MSC Livorno FY032R is therefore proceeding to Colombo, where she will
    discharge all Indian Ocean Island cargo. We will shortly advise on the intended oncarrier
    details and ETA Port Louis.
    This unfortunate incident in Mauritius will consequently bring further berthing delays in
    Port Louis of which we will keep you updated.

    We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
