In order to have a healthy and active body, each individual is responsible for a healthy lifestyle as healthy as
eating healthy foods and exercising.
Pre-lesson:-
Pupils watch video ‘Upin and Ipin’ from YouTube. Pupils discuss with their friends when they are
supposed to wash their hands.
Lesson development:-
Activity 1:-
Pupils brainstorm suggestions based on images given. State the importance of maintaining fitness
physical for mental and emotional health. Use the Round Table method. (21st CA)
Activity 2:-
ACTIVITIES
Group assignments: View pictures and give appropriate response.
Pupils tell care responsibilities food, personal hygiene, physical fitness and mental health.
Pupils present the results of discussion. (HOTS)
Activity 3:-
Pupils are brought to the nearest taps and do the correct steps of washing hands. Teacher distributes
worksheet. Pupils write the steps of washing hands in the correct order. (CBA)
Post-lesson:-
Pupils talk about ways to clean the dirty hands.
