Biological theory, “changes” toward older people associated with common health conditions.

Aging as
part of human development have physical effects that usually manifest as complication or deficit. With
such knowledge, it is usually applied as basis in caring for older adults. As an example, from the
Autoimmune Immunological theory as people gets older their immune system declines. Therefore, they
are susceptible to infections, and may perceive as health threat. That is why, we tend to give them some
supplements like ascorbic acid with iron, or even other types of supplement. Also, aside from providing
them some supplements other procedures may also be possible like lessening of causative factors of
their specific health conditions.

Health status is one of the most important indicators of well-being. That is why it is compromised to
help them maintain their good health and quality measures of care is observed. Given that older
people’s stamina, endurance, strength, and abilities decreases as a personal experience… they must be
supported and observed keenly as they do some hard labor works. Specifically, my grandfather normally
had hard labor works not until he became old doing the same things makes him so exhausted. And
usually complain “back and hip pains” after his normal labor works. That is why it is important, to let
them know first why it is happening to them and let them realize that their physical capabilities decline.
So that they, themselves can regulate their own work loads.
