I- INTRODUCTION
The basis for the formulation of this curriculum is Republic Act 8155 also
known as “Governance of Basis Education Act of 2001”.
This law is based on the principle that the school is the second home of the
child, the place to get formal education, thus the seat of learning. The School Head
has to exercise institutional leadership and sound administrative management. It is the
prime responsibility of the school to cope with the vision, mission, and objectives to
develop a school education program.
The School Curriculum was develop through the efforts of the School Head, a
Teacher Representative, PTCA President, President of the Student Body Organization
and a member of Bugawas Council.
HISTORY BACKGROUND
According to the 2015 Census, the age group with the highest population in
Bugawas is 5 to 9, with 288 individuals. Conversely, the age group with the
lowest population is 75 to 79 with 1 individual. The population of Bugawas grew
from 1,307 in 1990 to 1,842 in 2015, an increase of 63 people. The latest Census
figures in 2015 denote a positive growth rate of 1.99%, or an increase of 191
people, from the previous population of 1,751 in 2010.

C. Subject Description
D. Grading System
These are found in the curriculum guides. All grades will be used on the
WEIGHTED RAW SCORE of the learner’s summative assessments. The minimum
grade needed to pass specific learning area is 60, which is transmuted to 75 in the
report card. The lowest mark that can appear on the report card is 60 for the
QUARTERLY (Periodical) GRADES and FINAL GRADE.
The summary of learner progress is shown quarterly to parents and guardians through a
parent-teacher conference, in which the report card is discussed.
G. Transmuted Table
Following is the range of the initial Grades and their equivalent Transmuted Grades
that will be reflected in the report card.
H. CORE VALUES
These are various clubs and student organizations that is organized towards
the attainment of the objectives of the school. These supplement and enhance the year
study program. They contribute to their full formation by providing opportunities for
developing further their talents and interest, leadership qualities, sense of
responsibility and social consciousness.
A. RELIGIOUS CLUB – Religious Club develop lay leaders and helps spiritual
advise in the campus.
B. SCHOOL ORGAN/SCHOOL PAPER - The newspaper for those who
wish to develop their talents in writing.
C. DEPARTMENT CLUB – (Sci-Math, English, Filipino, Arabic, MAPEH)
– for those students show their special talents in their favorite subjects.
D. CULTURAL GUILD – for those interested in singing, dancing, drama and
theater presentation.
E. VARSITY CLUB - for all those interested in sports.
F. OTHER CLUBS/ ORGANIZATION (SSG) – for those who wants to
develop their managerial and leadership skills.
A. ADMINISTRATION
A.1.3 Registrar – The Registrar is responsible for safe keeping and custody of all
the students’ records. He/she is invested with the authority and responsibility for
the planning, organizing, supervising, maintaining and safe keeping records.
A.1.4 Cashier – The Cashier is responsible of collecting and safe keeping all the
cash collections generated by all financial transactions connected with the
school’s operation.
A.1.12 Property Custodian – The Property Custodian is responsible for the care,
custody and over-all management of all school properties.
A.1.14 Class Adviser – The Class Adviser is responsible for the direct
management and supervision of his/her students/pupils and the Administration in
the attainment of the school’s philosophy, vision-mission, goals and objectives.
A.1.15 Security Guard – The School Security Guard maintains peace, law and
order in the school by protecting and guarding properties, students, teachers,
personnel, parents, and visitors. Helps in enforcing and implementing school
policies, rules and regulations as directed by the Administration. He/she must
adhere to the agreement signed by the school authority.

E. Food Services – The school provides food services through the school canteen.
The canteen serves nutritious foods and snacks to students, personnel and visitors.
F. Bookstore Services – Bookstore Services provide the students who may need any
of the following:
A. SCHOLARSHIP
B. Special Scholarship name after the sponsor – for poor but deserving
students.
C. Educational Service Contracting Scheme – a government subsidy facilitated
by DepEd for incoming Grade VII students who need of financial assistance.
