change and create another new opportunity in the market. We have come up with a plan that will

as our resources and turn it into product for our business. Everyday enormous amount of wastes
is dumped in residential area and other industrial region which are not used appropriately for that
reason the earth and our health is in threat. But, if we deal with those waste appropriately we can
procure tremendous amount of profit. We all know there are some waste management
organization working in Bangladesh yet we will attempt show improvement over them. We will
build up a plant and manufacturing industry by that we will reuse those waste and produce
fertilizer which will help the agro-business. There is tremendous open door in this market and it
will go ahead. We have come up with a dream that we will support our environment and also
makes profit from our administration process.

We will try to catch this huge chance and make another market. As it is a new project and we
will attempt to develop it in future. We will begin our business in 2020 with the capital of BDT
5000000. We will purchase trucks, Machines and furthermore set up a factory in Kona Para,
Gazipur, which we will lease from its owner. We will do our business by reusing plastics and
landfills where the waste will be turned into fertilizer. After the beginning year we have an
arrangement for extend this business. We will attempt to promote our products broadly as it is a
new sector. First it will be a B2B business. The initial investment will be done by us and we
additionally intended to take a loan from bank. One of the incredible chance is that the
competitors are less and we will have a great number of supply of raw materials. Our business

recycled plastics to the plastic industries. The price of our fertilizers would be BDT 10 per kg,
and the price of oil would be BDT 70 per liter and the price of plastic will be BDT 20 per kg

the environment are getting cleaned due our business. So, in one sense we are doing the one of
the most ethical business.

11 | P a g e
3. Business environment analysis:

A. Future outlook and trends:

In 21st century the trend of waste management is increasing day by day. Technological
enhancement is playing an important role in the development of waste management. With the
increase in urbanization the pollution of environment has also increased, as a result the demand
for waste management is also increasing on a regular basis. Besides, robust increase in municipal
waste and fast ascent in population helping the improvement and the development of the waste
management industry. Moreover, increase of industry and city waste and execution of stringent
regulation to destroy the nonhazardous leftovers encourages the market development of waste
management

According to a new report published by allied market research, the waste management market is
projected to have a huge growth by 2025. In 2017 the market size of waste management was
$330.6 billion and it is expected to reach 530.0 billion by 2025 with a growth rate of 8%. So,
waste management industry has a bright future.

So, if we are able to do our business properly and provide products according to our consumers’
demand than we will have a good future in this sector.

B. PESTEL Analysis:

A PESTEL analysis is a framework or tool used by marketers to analyze and monitor the macro-
environmental (external marketing environment) factors that have an impact on an organization.
The result of which is used to identify threats and weaknesses which is used in a SWOT analysis.
PESTEL stands for:
 P - Political
 E - Economic
 S - Social
 T - Technological

12 | P a g e
 E - Environmental
 L - Legal
Let’s look at each of these macro-environmental factors in turn:

Political:

These are about how and to what degree a government intervenes in the economy. This includes
– government approach, political dependability or insecurity in abroad markets, foreign
exchange policy, tax strategy, labor law, law of environment, trade restriction etc.

It is obvious from the above list that political factors regularly affect organizations and how they
work together. Organizations need to be able to react to the present and anticipated future
legislation, and modify their advertising strategies accordingly.

In Bangladesh, the political condition is always insecure. The change of government changes all
the past arrangements. In our country both the political party never agree with each other. As a
result, clashes, strikes and street blockages occurs. For this issue, the entire business gets
influenced to a certain degree. To deal with this type of political problems, we have to build up
some techniques to overcome this sort of circumstance. Otherwise, our organization will go

13 | P a g e
through a tough situation. As a result, the demand of the consumers could be going down and it
will result in decrease in income of our business.

Economy:

Economic factors significantly affect organization's way of doing business and also on their way
of earning profit. Factors includes – economic development, interest rates, trade rates, inflation,
extra cash of customers and organizations, etc.
These components can be additionally separated into macro-economic and micro-economic
factors. Macro-economic factors deal with the demand in a given economy. Governments use
interest rate control, tax policy and government expenditure as their principle instruments. On
the other hand, micro-economic factors are all about the manner in which individuals spend their
earnings.
The economy of Bangladesh plays an essential role in our business. Changes in economy can
make a long term impact on our business. The ongoing rise of inflation rate in the economy of
Bangladesh would influence the idea of our business and the manner in which we are valuing our
services. It can influence the purchasing intensity of our customers and supply models for the
economy.
Recently, the government has expanded the compensation rate which is an empowering side for
our business. As the economy of our nation has increased, the purchasing power of the general
population has also increased. In this way, more individuals now filling their essential needs
effectively. As a result, more individuals are probably coming under our customer segment.
Loan from the bank is a source of capital for our business. At the present time, interest rate for
medium business is high contrasting with the past. In 2018 interest rate climbed back to twofold
digits. Presently we need to take out loans at 10-12% interest rate as the interest for business loan
has increased which was under 10% a year ago. It's a major drawback for our business however
we trust we will almost certainly cover this rate effectively as we found there is an enormous
demand for our product.
In our nation after budget, the tax policy on various items changes. Any changes in taxes can
influence the cost of our items. Later on while we will attempt to extend our business from
Dhaka to some other domain like Chittagong, Sylhet etc. then local economic patterns will play
an essential job. Local economic condition and patterns can influence the interest of our services.

14 | P a g e
Right now, Bangladesh has a nominal GDP of around $ 286.275 billion (est. 2018) and the
growth rate of GDP is 7.86% (est. 2018).

Social:

Socio-cultural factors, are the regions that include the shared belief and attitude of the people.
These factors include – population growth, age, health awareness, and career, etc. These factors
are exceptionally compelling as they directly affect how marketers get clients and what drives
them.

Technology:

In the area of innovation there is in every high chance of changes and advancement. These
elements relate to development to technology that may influence the activity of the business and
the imprint could be positive or negative. As our business is completely dependent on
technology, so any adjustment in technology will influence our business. In any case, as we are
beginning with the most recent equipment, we can trust it will serve us for quite a long time.
Remembering about the future we will have a research and development office. The duty of this
office is to do research how we can reduce the cost of producing our product.

Today, the utilization of social Media has become very important. As individuals are
increasingly associated with the social Media and it's a decent path for business to achieve target
client. Through social media, we will do the promotion and advertisement of our product.

Environmental:

These factors have just truly gone to the cutting edge over the most recent fifteen years or
something like that. They have turned out to be critical because of the increasing shortage of raw
materials, pollution, working together as a moral and supportable organization. These are only a
portion of the issues marketers are looking inside this factor. An ever increasing number of
consumers are demanding that the items they purchase are sourced morally, and if possible from
sustainable source.

15 | P a g e
In Bangladesh bribe is normal. Each business needs to pay a specific cash to some nearby
authority as a piece of security money. This practice is illicit and we will attempt to stay away
from giving bribe if possible. In any case, for the protection of our staffs and property we won't
turn the authority against us.

We will consider appropriate working condition for our staffs and deal with their health and
cleanliness factors. We will give every single medical facility to our staffs in the event that
anything occurs amid the work hours.

Legal:

To work in Bangladesh, we need to pursue the law given by The Constitution of Bangladesh. We
need to keep up the health and security of the employees as indicated by the law. In addition, we
need to pay compensations and different incentives as indicated by the law. Adjacent to this we
will be mindful to tackle any worker related issue and for this we will follow Labor Law 2006.

We additionally need to get trade license and TIN to begin our operation. Later on we have an
arrangement to broaden our business in cities like Chittagong and Sylhet etc. and for that we
need to get diverse endorsements and guarantee best quality service.

C. Porter’s five force:

Porter's Five Forces is a model that distinguishes and breaks down five focused powers that
shape each industry, and decides an industry's weaknesses and strengths. Frequently used to
recognize an industry's structure to decide corporate strategy, Porter's model can be connected to
any part of the economy to look for benefit. The model is named after Michael E. Porter.

Supplier Power: In our business the primary raw material are waste materials. There are
numerous suppliers in Bangladesh. As a result, we will try to get our raw materials at a lower
cost. As there are lot of supplier than the bargaining power of them would be limited. For that
reason, the switching cost will be low if we switch from one supplier to another. Sometimes, for
the extra raw materials of our business we will depend on foreign suppliers.

16 | P a g e
Close to our business area there are loads of suppliers for the raw materials of our business.
These little business have restricted bargain power because of accessibility of choices and they
are not able to charge us of high rate. If they do that then we have the capacity to change to
different suppliers.

Buyer Power: The total number of consumer in Dhaka is high. Since there will be a high
number of consumer, their bargaining power will be restricted. In addition, we have few number
of competitors in Bangladesh and hence we will face little danger from the consumer side as they
may switch. Considering the area of our business it will be troublesome and costly for buyers to
change to the competitors.

Competitive Rivalry: In this sector our rivals are Bangladesh Petrochemical Company, Azizu
Traders and Waste concern. So, we will try to provide different kind product then our rivals.
There is a chance that our rival can undoubtedly duplicate the method of our product. In the later
stages, the contender may enter in the market with a similar product with a lower cost than us. At
that point we will have little power in that circumstance, since buyer will go to the contender in
the event that they don't get a decent arrangement from us. But one thing that will work as our
strength is that if we provide better services than our competitors.

Threat of Substitution: The threat of substitution is present in every business. So, one thing that
we can do is to provide better quality product to our consumer so that they don’t buy product
from our competitors.

Threat of New Entry: The capacity of people to go into our market is exceptionally high. Since
the time and cost to enter the business isn't exceptionally high and the process is extremely
simple. In Bangladesh, we don't have solid and strong barriers to this section. Along these lines,
they can exploit to go into the market. Bangladesh has as of late observed youthful business
entrepreneurs participating in little to medium scale organizations. As a result, there is a chance
of new entrants in our market.

17 | P a g e
D. Stakeholder Analysis:

Our stakeholders are the individual, gathering or organizations that has interest or concern in our
business. Partners can influence or be influenced by our business activities. The real stakeholders
of our business are:

Customers: Consumers are our main stakeholder. Consumer interaction is crucial for our
business as we need to redirect consumers from the current seller. For building a long term
connection we will dependably take the consume review and we will attempt to take care of all
the substantial consumer issue. Moreover, we will try to attract more consumer for our business
through advertisement and promotion.

Suppliers: For our business, we will construct great connection with our supplier. We will keep
up most extreme communication with the providers to guarantee just in time supply of raw
materials for our business. We will deal with negotiations cautiously to keep up a benefit
motivating force for both of us.

Employees: We will have just 70 employees at the beginning and it will be our objective to
build a decent relationship with them and make them faithful to our organization. Procuring new
employees on a regular basis would cause inefficiency in our business. Each organization is
different from another in the term of giving the service. So, new workers would require
additional time in understanding the idea of the business and technical knowledge about the
product and the market.

Government: In our business, we need to pay less amount of tax to the government. The
government intervene can also influence the procedure of our business. So for that reason, we
would try to keep up a decent relationship with the Governing bodies, for example, National
Board of Revenue (NBR), (BSTI) and (NCRP).
18 | P a g e
Competitors: It is critical for us to focus on the activities of our rival, for example, the service
and pricing approaches as well as the consumer relationship management. We will consider the
strategies of the competitors and keeping their procedures we will make our techniques to pull
their consumers.

E. SWOT analysis:

We have done SWOT analysis to get idea about our abilities and the future opportunities of our
business. SWOT analysis would show us in which direction the market is going and what the
condition of the market is. Besides, it gives use warning about the things that we need to avoid.
So, we can say that SWAT analysis helps us to take operational decision for our business.

Strength: Weakness:

1. Huge resource 1. New Business

2. Very few local competitors 2. Lower amount of capital

3. Tax benefit 3. Labor problem

4. Proper use of wastage 4. Proper equipment are not available in our country

5. Low cost raw materials

Opportunity: Threats:

1. Tremendous potential to grow the business 1. Political crisis

2. Good for the environment 2. Natural disaster

3. High demand in international market 3. International competitors

4. Technological development 4. Uncertainty

Strength: One of the greatest strength of our business would be the availability of resources. As
our raw materials are waste product so we won’t have any shortage of raw materials for our
business and the price is also low. So, one thing we need to make sure that we properly utilize
the waste to produce our products. Moreover, the amount of competitors in Bangladesh is also
less. As a result, we will be able conduct our business with freedom because there will be less

19 | P a g e
pressure from our competitors. Beside, for the type of our business we would get tax benefit
from the Government of Bangladesh.

Weakness: As our business is new we might face many problems. Some of the problems are
lower amount of capital, sufficient amount of labor. Moreover, we will buy equipment from
outside the country. Because, the proper equipment for our business is not available in our
country. For that reason, our cost will also increase.

Opportunities: Our business has a tremendous potential to grow in the future because it is a new
market. And, due to less competition we would be able to carry on our business easily. Besides,
our business has great future because we are not only producing products from the waste but also
cleaning our environment by collecting the waste. Moreover, the demand of this kind of business
is high in foreign country. So, we have a great opportunity to do our business in foreign land.
The technology is also providing better equipment for the waste management business which
would help us to collect and produce our product more efficiently.

Threats:

One of the main problem that we might face is the political issues because in Bangladesh every
business person needs to give bribe to the authority to conduct business activities easily and
without any problem. Besides, foreign competitors can also enter in our market. Then there
would be a chance that we might lose our current consumers.

So, after conducting the SWOT analysis we can say that our business has great a potential to
grow in future besides all the weaknesses and threats.

F. Industry and Market Forecasts

The waste management industry is developing at a good rate in our nation. People currently need
a decent choice for products at a reasonable price. There are just couple of local waste
management business that are satisfying the consumer request. So, our business can catch the
market without facing any problem and have a major portion of consumer. Other than that as the
20 | P a g e
population is increasing so it implies the consumer are increasing in a good number which
guarantees that there won't be a deficiency of consumer for our business. Through our survey we
seen that people are using recycled product more today.

4. Description of the Venture:

environment and create a new item out it. We plan on keeping the city clean and stop using
plastics that stay with us for 100 years and create pollution. Our mission statement states

The following price is low enough to ensure growth in the market and ensure a very healthy
profit as we do not have any direct competition. The pricing is strategized based on combining
three different pricing models. They are:

 Market penetration strategy: As this is a brand new initiative we need to lower our price
as much as possible to capture the highest market share.
 Product line strategy: We are producing different varieties of product category which has
different value of its own. They have individual identity and also vary in consumer.
 Promotional strategy: In order to market our product and create various phases to educate
the targeted consumer about the product. Also the cost of free distribution, campaign etc.
promotional event pricing involves.

D. Distribution Plan:

Our goal is to grow and lead the market of Bangladesh which is why we have mapped out
strategy for a successful distribution system of our product. Using conventional distribution
system our products will be available to the:

 Product related Manufacture Company, in order to make items plastic, non-plastic using
the waste materials.
 Retailer or Dealer, who will resale our products in different places.
 Sole importers, are mostly loyal to its producer company
 Different stores directly to the customer; farmers, electricians etc. consumer who wants
an ecofriendly environment to live in and appreciate the genuineness of our product
 Dhaka City Corporation; will have availability of our product for water treatment and
various waste management issues.

Our operation will be conducted in Dhaka division at the beginning and we plan to expand our
channels gradually.

E. Advertising and Promotion Plan:

In order to increase the sale, capture highest market share, get the consumer also to ensure
behavioral change promoting and advertising plan plays a vital role. As we came up with the
products produced using waste materials it is very important to educate the people about it and
engage them so that they can relate to our product. Our product campaign is designed from May
2019- May 2020 as being a completely new industry we must not rush into long term promotion
planning.

Our promotion plan is 3 folded following various campaign to each phases. Which will gradually
take the consumer into buying it.

 Awareness Phase: In this phase our primary job is to let people know about our mission.
The idea ensuring behavioral change and how our product is closely related to it. By
creating interest, incorporating with their emotion and giving them an actual reality
check.
Campaign no.1) an intensive promotion plan using various IMC tools is quite
necessary when a brand is being introduced. Act as moving awareness media, Posters and
billboard, sharing various environmental contents using social and traditional media,
broadcasting shows with the help of government at public interest.
Campaign no.2) The Trash Tag Challenge, in this challenge the people will voluntarily
take challenge to clean up a dump and post picture of before and after in social media. It
will be sponsored event and there will be token of appreciation for the winners.

 Educate Phase: This phase is designed to educate the consumer about our products and
the price and place of distribution. The different modes that can be used to let people
know what, why and how we produce organic products using the waste materials will be
newspaper, grocery stores, social media, TVC, radio transmission etc.
Campaign no. 1) Say No to single used product, in this campaign we will be protesting
against reselling of recycled product. We will ensure that our product is not a single used
plastic nor we will sell it to manufacturer and build a relationship with the consumer.

26 | P a g e
Campaign no. 2) Water treatment, another exclusive project to clean water bodies
taking contracts from government. This project will be promoted through supporting
statements that “we are a part of government’s plan” of sustainable society.
 Action Phase: The commercial trials of the product are done in this phase. Evaluation of
the product, attractive packaging with a note “I got a new life”, relating the campaigns
from the beginning phases.
Campaign no.1) Farmer’s review on the fertilizer, they will get free products from us
and their review will be circulated in billboard, poster form also will mention “the most
important review” on social media.

Campaign no.2) Resurrection or “নবজন্ম”, It will be a platform where through

animated character we will showcase how from being the most useless they got a new life and
turned into someting useful to the people also to the envionment. This will inspire young minds
and question adults regarding their choice of product.
Along with these phases the promotion planning involves:
 Social Media involvement
 Sustainable challenges
 Creation of different touch points
 Campaign ambassadors
F. Customer Service Policy:

Our product is just not concern about its growth but also promised to assure 100% customer
satisfaction. As it is created in order to provide a sustainable solution to the waste materials, the
company will maintain strict monitoring policy. Periodic research on its quality, promised no
single used plastic, rate of littering, proper utilization etc. will be controlled by the company. We
will also make sure the awareness campaigns to continue to change the perception and put the
waste materials into the dustbins and keep the area clean. Transparency will be maintained with
the dealers and customers regarding the process of the waste materials and pricing strategies. If
necessary will increase or change few distribution channels according to customer preference.
We will make sure to follow the policy strictly so that we can sustain as a company in the
market.

6. Production Plan:
A. Manufacturing process:
Initially the waste materials are collected through various sources and separated. The organic
fertilizers will be used to process the fertilizer and that kind of bi-products. The primary process
of the production of fertilizer is conducted using hygienic waste material. The non-organic
waste will be processed through machine to produce oil. In order to reduce the use of single used
plastic we would wash the plastic bottles and supply it to the users. The process of waste
materials recycling is to mix them with water and other chemical ingredients and break them.
Afterwards heating them will create a pulp and will manufacture paper through waste materials.

B. Physical Plant:
As this is completely a startup and initially no other companies started manufacturing these items
out of waste materials we are unable to create a fully-fledged factory or take a lease. We will be
conducting our operation from Kona Bari, Gazipur.

C. Machinery and Equipment:

The machineries and equipment used in manufacturing the products are furniture, generator,
computer equipment, pulping machine, craft paper machine, oil processing machine and other
equipment. Also the office supplies are included in the operation.

D. Names of the suppliers of Raw materials:

Basically the city corporation is the primary source of our raw materials that is wastage. Also
the dumplings of different area who works to clean them will be supplying them for a very low
cost. We will also collect them voluntarily. As we do not have to pay tax in the operation due to
the direct involvement with the government we will get benefits and will never face scarcity of
raw materials. The municipalities will offer disposing of human waste sludge to generate in
waste treatment and we will be helping them in their cause and make money from human waste.
As our products will be created from human waste it will get attention from every sector in
search of raw materials.

7. Operational Plan:
A. Description of the company’s operation:
Waste management business comprises of how this business collects, transports, processes,
recycles or disposes its waste. Ujjibito will mainly focus on improving the condition of Dhaka by
reducing the amount of waste that clogs and cripples this city. Plastic is one of the big culprits
that enable the crippling; specifically, single use plastic. Our operation will incorporate the
revolutionary process of transforming plastic to fuel along with raw materials for non-single use
plastic products. The fertilizer production will be a byproduct from the river and water body
cleaning and water treatment projects partnering with the government.

B. Action plan & timetable:

Action Timing Description
Training 1 month The first order of business is to
visit the related plants abroad
and educate the core team about
the processes
Hiring Consultants 15 days To set up the plants and
factories, we need experts in the
field to ensure efficient
production lines and processes
Leasing and Renting 15 days Look for suitable places for the
plants and warehousing facilities
Equipment Purchasing 25 days With the help of consultants the
machines and equipment will be
purchased
Plant setup 1 month Once all the necessary tools and
equipment arrive the plants will
be set up
Recruitment 15 days Few managers and mainly the
workers will be hired
Training and Development 1 month Appropriate training will be
provided and assessment centers
will be set up
Marketing 3 months Intensive marketing campaigns
will be put in place to educate
the market and familiarize the
company in the community
Water Treatment Contracts 6 months Once the plastic, fuel and
fertilizer plants are up and
running, We will approach the
government to clean up the
contaminated water bodies near
the localities on contract

31 | P a g e
C. Flow of orders for goods and/or services:
Having a lot of dimension to the flow of orders, Ujjibito ultimately depends on the wastes from
households, businesses, dumps, etc. The general flow chart of the three plants is shown here:

32 | P a g e
D. Business location & requirements / advantages / lease details:
All of our recycling plants will be in Kona para, Gazipur because the plants will be close enough
to send the waste from the city. The location will be out of the city because it requires a huge
land for plants and warehousing facilities as well. The main office of Ujjibito will also be
situated there.
The land, plants and warehouses will be either leased or rented at the beginning of our operation.
The Big water cleaning projects from the government might be lease based and contract based
for relatively smaller water bodies.

E. Equipment / technology / R&D / environmental aspects:

Equipment required for Ujjibito will mostly be imported from different countries. Several
machineries will be required for this business. To ensure efficiency we will bring in experts and
consultants before setting up the plants. They will advise which machineries to buy and from
where. As for research and development, the fuel production plant will need the most attention to
perfect.
The entire business stands on the environmental aspect in that it will be focused on reducing the
waste in one of the most unlivable cities in the world and converting that to actually help the
environment. Producing fuel for plastic means, if done on a larger scale, the pressure on natural
resources to fuel our vehicles will decrease. Banning all kinds of single use plastics will ensure
lesser plastic thrown away in the rivers, canals and drains which blocks the healthy passage of
water.

F. Technology utilization:
Ujjibito will not be very tech dependent in that the partners and customers will not interact with
us using technology. The plants themselves will be technologically advanced. The machines will
be automated and the monitoring system will be computerized to ensure little to no fault. Even
though the business will not be tech based, the outmost utilization of technology is a target for
us.

33 | P a g e
34 | P a g e
8. Organizational Plan:

amounts to start the business. The liabilities of the business will fall on all the partners according
to the portion of share in the company. The profits will also be distributed to the partners equally
after 1 year of operation. Since all the members are active partners and has a role in the
organization, this first year they will only receive the salaries.

D. HR Policies:
In terms of HR policy, we will follow the SHRM to integrate the HR with other departments.
Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the practice of aligning business strategy
with that of HR practices to achieve the strategic goals of the organization [CITATION Pra \l 1033 ].
SHRM helps developing the capabilities of the employees and their working attitude which
contribute to the company’s strategic goal.

i. Funnel Approach:
SHRM has its very own equation to meet its vital objectives. It concentrates on funnel approach
by first defining the Long expression business objectives, at that point it centers around the
organization objectives by disseminating obligations to various administration dimensions of its
diverse ventures on a temporary basis. Everybody is lined up with the business objectives. This
is the means by which the momentary objectives are lined up with the long time business
objectives.

ii. Employees Code of Conducts:

Employees are bound to comply with the general codes of conduct from the day
they are appointed. Here are some major basic code of our company that
employees must follow.
 Law Compliance: All workers must secure our organization's
lawfulness. They ought to consent to all environmental, fair and
reasonable managing laws. We anticipate that workers should be moral
and capable when managing our organization's funds, items, and
associations.
 Respect in the workplace: Employees are expected to respect their collegues.
Under any circumstances discrimination isn’t allowed and everyone should get equal
opportunity in every aspect of the workplace.
 Company Resources Protection: any kind of abuses and theft of materials will
turn into a direct termination from the company and legal action will be taken if
necessary.
 Professionalism: we encourage our employees to be professional and discourage
them from any kind of bribery.

47 | P a g e
 Absenteeism: We want our employees to be regular. However, during any kind of
uncertainty we will consider the situation.

iii. Rercuitement Process:

 Required Employees: There is no unviersal tools to assess the number of employees
required. Based on the business growth and market expansion we will forecast our
employee needs.
 Job Analysis: The head of HR will observe and survey the whole organization to find
out vacancy. Based on the position HR will design the job description and job
specification. Proper planning and evaluation of the need will lead to hiring the right
person for the role and team
 Call for CV: after finding out the position HR will invite candidates to submit their
CVs.
 Interviews: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The selected
candidates will join the organization.
 External Recruitement: Since our business is a startup currently we are solely
dependent on external recruitement. We will adverties BDjobs, Facebooks, linkedIn
and Newspapers.
 Joining: Successful candidates will sign the agreement with company. Through this
process candidates will start working.
 Resignation: however if any employee want to resign he/she need to inform at least
two months before he/she leaves. Otherwise it will be difficult for us to find out the
replacement.

iv. Training And Development:

Every entreprenuers want to grow and in this case we are no different than others. We want
grow our business having a strong intention to do business countrywide within next 5/7
years. Here comes the training and development which will improve the skills and strategy of
the management and employees. Both employees and management will be trained and
motivated to improve their skills. We will organize many different for our existing
employees and the freshers. The training goal is to make the employees more productive and
efficient. We will send our management to different industry visits to keep pace with new
innovation and technology. We know that the new technology which cuts extra steps in
business will ultimately lead us to profit.
On the Job Training: This is a learning by doing process. In this way employee will learn
through actually excercising those activities. Job rotation process will be included in order to
make the management and employees multiskilled. Job rotation refers to shifting the job
from one department to another. As a result it will gives the employees a 360 degree
experience and knowledge of the whole business process.

48 | P a g e
v. Salary and Benefits:
Employees are compensated with the salary which will be given in cash. The basic salary is
alligned with countrys overall yearly inflation rate. As a result the basic salary will increase
overtime. However, salary will also increase based on the performance of the employees.
Other than the basic salary employees will be provided with some financial and non-financial
benefits. Financial Benefits are showing on table:
Ocations Beneftis
EId-ul-Fitre Basic salary of One Month
EID-ul-Adha Basic Salary of Half Month
Pohela Baishakh Basic Salary of Half Month

In addition to that some nonfinancial benefits such as maternity leave, sick leave, annual
leave, and festive leave will be provided as par the labor law of Bangladesh.

vi. Performance Appraisal:

The performance appraisal process is supervised by the head of human resource manager.
He will take the responsibility to make the appraisal process unbiased. HR will continiously
monitor and evaluate the performance of the employees. Thus a proformance score card will
be introduced which will morivate the employees to work efficiently and make the life of
department head easier.

49 | P a g e
10. Risk Management:
Risk Management is the way toward recognizing any potential dangers that may happen while
speculating the procedure and doing anything to reduce or overtaking of those risks [ CITATION
Wha \l 1033 ]. We are expecting that our business has huge potential in Bangladesh. Because the
demand of the products that we are offering here has huge demands. However, uncertainty may
arrives any time, considering the risk, we are taking some proactive measures. Before we solve
the problems, we are dicussing the potential risks associated with our company and its products.
Then we will come up with solution of that problems.

A. Weakness and Threats:

Since this business is completely based on entrepreneural efforts, being the concepts new there is
a possibility of forecasting errors. Industry analysis is also a challenge for us since there is no
exsiting industrial activities in this particular sector. Another weakness can be the low initial
capital. Finally the expected costs may differ from the forecasting. However, we will have a
research team who will keep doing research and experiment to bring up new strategy solving the
existing weakness and challenges. Another great challenge would be to expand the business
geogaphically. Finally, the biggest risk associated with our business is the high chance of
cloning our business. Patent would be the best option to protect our business from such risks but
in Bangladesh patent procedures isn’t present currently. So we will try our best earn the
economies of scale which refers to the optimum level of efficiency and keep diversifying our
products and services. As a result, it will be difficult for the new entrants to affect our business
growth and profitability. We will try to overcome the financial problems through inviting the
venture capitalist and private investors.

B. Contingency Plan:
We are expecting that our business will grow according to our expectation but things may not
work according to our expectation. Thus we come up with contingency plan for each level of our
company from management level to our final products. Since all are freshers with the book
knowledge only , come to business, it will be difficult to handle the businesses. To cover up our
company from unexpected situation will have a advisor who will guide through different
situation. Obviously we will choose a advisor who has the long period of industry experiences
and worked in top management level for more than 15 years. In product level, for engine oil
from plastic, we all have high expection that our product will have higher demand in the market
since world is moving toward sustainbility and people are aware of the damages of single use
plastics. If there is less demand at consumer level, in this case we will go for B2B business and
sell the processed plastic moul to other plastic materials manufacturers. Bangladesh is a country
of agriculture but the scarcity of fertilizers are always there. As a result we don’t think of any
kind of loss in fertilizer business. In addition to that we are planning to bring Bio-gas into trade
in future since both the house hold gas line stuggling and the LPG is costly. Finally, our
marketing department will bring some awareness campaign and educate the people through
different media to make people the necessity of our products.

Dear Mr. Mahmood,
I am really honor to state that and would like to invite you to finance in our innovative, fast
growing business plan, waste management that named in Ujjibito, which is a waste management
system in our Dhaka city. Having your investment, we will be hoping to continue our new
venture and add great value to the industry as well.
I would like to inform you that we will start our business on January 10, 2020 in Plot 250, Kona
Bari Gazipur. For the last few decades, Government and Non-government institution didn’t take
this initiative of waste management plan, and we will try to fill this gap and create awareness
among the total population in Bangladesh. The main purpose of taking this initiative plan is Go
Green and Live Green, our forecasting financial report claims that we will gain profit after the
first year and return on investment will be 7% primarily but it will boom by 28% within five
years. And there our profit margin is raise to 35%-40% within the same fiscal year.
Moreover, we have given in total amount BDT 5,000,000/- from our individual’s funds among
the five person and loan from family and friends BDT 700,000 and we are fall short of BDT
1,000,000/- and we will sell our three sectors products, and make the fill out this funds gap
rapidly.
We will know very well about the current market demand and supply for our products, and
government especially appreciate this plan because it will create value and greatly expand our
economic sectors as well. So your investment will also add new dimension about the company
