1. In what ways can specific advancement ensure “good life” of

people in particular society?
Science is the greatest collective endeavor. It contributes to ensuring
a longer and healthier life, monitors our health, provides medicine to
cure our diseases, alleviates aches and pains, helps us to provide
water for our basic needs including our food, provides energy and
makes life more fun, including sports, music, entertainment and the
latest communication technology. Last but not least, it nourishes our
spirit.
Science generates solutions for everyday life and helps us to answer
the great mysteries of the universe. In other words, science is one of
the most important channels of knowledge. It has a specific role, as
well as a variety of functions for the benefit of our society creating
new knowledge, improving education, and increasing the quality of
our lives.

2. How can you equate scientific and technological improvements

to good life?

Technology definitely does make things simpler. It surely has. Things

are done within no time with the help of technology. Is it ordering
food, shopping, paying bills, checking admissions, Booking tickets
and what not. These are just a few to mention. You’re able to ask this
question because of Technology and we are able to connect to
thousands of people across the globe because of technology. If not
this life would just be so much complex. But along with this not to
forget it has its own demerits as well. Because nothing in this world is
all fancy and great! Everything has its own pros and cons.

3. What are some pain and gain that a society derived from specific
technological advancement in various industries like agriculture,
business, tourism, and the like?

The evolution of technology is beneficial to humans for several

reasons. At the medical level, technology can help treat more sick
people and consequently save many lives and combat very harmful
viruses and bacteria. The invention of the computer was a very
important point. Communication is thus enhanced, and companies
can communicate more easily with foreign countries. Research is
also simplified. For companies; progress in implementing strategic
technology trends is helping them save time and therefore, money.
Exchanges are faster especially with the internet. Sales and
purchases are now facilitated and possible worldwide. This allows
businesses to buy raw materials with discounts or at reduced prices.
Similarly, global tourism has grown.

On the other hand, the evolution of modern technology has

disadvantages, for example, dependence on new technology. Man no
longer needs to think. Even if the calculator is a good invention, man
no longer makes mental calculation and no longer works his memory.
The decline of human capital implies an increase in unemployment.
In some areas, devices can replace the human mind. Finally, as most
technological discoveries aim to reduce human effort, it would imply
that more work is done by machines. This equates to less work for
people: the human is becoming ever so obsolete by the day, as
processes become automated and jobs are made redundant.
4. Can you say that technological improvements a “boon or
bane”? Why and how?

In Today's World Technology is the word that we start our day with,
and it has becoming an integral part of everyday life. Technology has
made life easy. It changed our way of thinking. Technology
development and innovation are welcome to modern society but there
are always two sides to a coin. As we know, all we have been
introduced many more modern technologies like online shopping,
accessing bank accounts, Railway, Air, Bus bookings and
educational field. Technology has insured that one can easily
communicate with anyone on land, in air or even when the person is
under the calm waves of dark deep-sea. So that it is surely a boon
when we use it in a right way.
5. What significant role of science and technology in developing
the economy and education landscape of a country?
Developments in science and technology are fundamentally altering
the way people live, connect, communicate and transact, with
profound effects on economic development. To promote tech
advance, developing countries should invest in quality education for
youth, and continuous skills training for workers and managers.
Science and technology are key drivers to development, because
technological and scientific revolutions underpin economic advances,
improvements in health systems, education and infrastructure.
Products are transforming business practices across the economy, as
well as the lives of all who have access to their effects.
6. How can social media be used to benefit students like you?
The use of social media in education provides students with the
ability to get more useful information, to connect with learning groups
and other educational systems that make education convenient.
Social network tools afford students and institutions with multiple
opportunities to improve learning methods.
7. What are the netiquettes of computer ethics that need to be
observed by students in using technology?
