ISCOM2100 FE Series Access Ethernet Switch

Overview

The ISCOM2100 series carrier-grade MAN Ethernet access switch

is a network-manageable Layer 2 Ethernet switch. Adopting the high-
performance ASIC chip, it can implement all-line-speed switching. It provides
various interfaces, such as eight/sixteen/twenty-four 10/100BASE-T Ethernet
electrical interfaces. It provides 2/4 GE Combo (10/100/1000Base-T or
100/1000Base-X) interfaces. It features carrier-grade stability and reliability.
In addition, it provides rich QoS policies, ACL, and protection switching
mechanisms.
The ISCOM2100, oriented for carrier-grade corridor access, is suitable for the
ISCOM2100
enterprise parks, enterprise networks, and residential areas. It provides broad-
band access and aggregates services from small networks.

Features

Complete access Easy management and maintenance

Line-speed forwarding on all interfaces, non-blocking design Self-adaptive to the straight-through cable and crossover cable
The uplink fiber supports 80-km remote distance transmission, able Cluster management for centralizedly managing IP addresses, thus
saving IP addresses
to access the trunk MAN.
Various management modes through Console and SNMP interfaces
IEEE 802.1x and interface-based user authentication OAM
Interface isolation and rate limiting

Rich security guarantee Carrier-grade reliable design

Various access control and user authentication mechanisms, includ- STP, RSTP, and MSTP, thus providing link backup, increasing error
ing ACL, dynamic ARP inspection, RADIUS, TACACS+, and IP tolerance, and guaranteeing network stability
Source Guard, effectively enhancing security of network and the NE Ring network protection, able to reach the carrier-grade standard of
Broadcast storm and loop detection, able to keep network stable sub-50ms service switching time
Lightning protection on power supply and all Ethernet electrical Silent design without fans
interfaces to protect the customer’s investment on hardware

Typical networking

MAN Buildings and campus
