Master Your Emotions:

Subtitle--- A Practical Guide to Overcome Negativity and Better Manage Your Feelings

Chapter Ideas:
Part 1 -Define (questions the reader may have)
1. What are emotions?
2. How do emotions and thoughts interact?
3. What causes negative emotions?
4. Why do I feel sad?
5. Why am I always stressed?
6. Why am I easily frustrated?
Part 2 -Apply (answers the reader may need)
1. How to control anger.
2. How to control sadness.
3. How to stay positive.
4. How to avoid negativity.
5. How to spread joy.

This is a small outline I came up with for writing the book. This may be added to, taken away from, or
changed as I write it. :) Let me know if there are certain ideas you have for chapter subjects. Also,
the chapter titles can be simply stated above, or they can be different. That can be decided later. For
now, that is just a small outline of subjects for each chapter. The following will be a small summary
of each chapter.

Part 1
1. What are emotions?
This chapter will basically explain what emotions are, what is the origin of emotions, and
what we as humans know about them. This will be the backbone of the rest of the book.
2. How do emotions and thoughts interact?
This will bring into light how a person’s emotions and thoughts come together in life. This will
basically give a relatable explanation to how we as people use our emotions in everyday life.
This will also explain how our emotions change and are affected by our thoughts/actions.
3. What causes negative emotions?
This will be a chapter about where negative emotions come from.
4. Why do I feel sad?
This chapter will focus mainly on sadness/depression. This will explain the questions of why
one feels this way and things in life that lead to this feeling.
5. Why am I always stressed?
The focus of this chapter will be on the stress we feel in our lives, what causes it.
6. Why am I easily frustrated?
This chapter will focus on frustration and anger.
Part 2 -Apply (answers the reader may need)
1. How to control anger.
2. How to control sadness.
3. How to stay positive.
4. How to avoid negativity.
5. How to spread joy.
Part 2 will basically be pointers, ideas, studies, and encouragement to live in light of truths
that prove how we can control our emotions. That last 3 chapters will be the finale of the story,
explaining what to do to live a positive, joy-filled life that avoids negativity at all costs.
