    Application:
    Messenger dead-end grips have a holding strength equal to the messenger strength. A thimble clevis must be
    used to prevent damage to the loop of the messenger grip.

    Description:
    The MS-4122, MS-4128, MS-3258
    and MS-5272 are pre-formed type
    splices for connecting two lengths of
    messenger wire.
    The splices consist of three sets of
    spirally formed rods.

    Application:
    Messenger splices are used for splicing or repairing messenger wire. Messenger splices have a holding
    strength equal to the messenger strength. To restore full conductivity, a bare aluminum jumper wire should
    be installed across the splice.
