    DSO musicians have chosen the following for you to prepare for the first day of
    AVANTI:

    Saint-Saens Danse Bacchanale:


    1. Flute 1: Beginning to Letter A
    2. Flute1: 24 measures after Letter B to Letter C
    3. If you are interested in playing piccolo:
    a. Piccolo part: Beginning to Letter A
    b. Piccolo part: 22 measures after Letter G to the end

    Schubert Unfinished Symphony, first movement:


    1. Flute 1: Measures 99-104
    2. Flute 1: Measures 229-243
    3. Flute 1: Measures 313-322

    These excerpts will be used to assign seating for the Workshop. All decisions
    made by DSO musicians regarding seating are final.
