    How to use this CD

    Dear User,

    This DIN Handbook is an interactive collection of documents, and a mouseclick will


    take you where you want to go. You can get to every standard, every clause, even every
    occurrence of a word using one of the tools listed below.

    1. Navigate using document bookmarks from the table of contents.

    2. Search the entire handbook for terms.

    3. Use the subject index to link to documents.

    Click on a bookmark to get to the first page of a document.

    Click on the “+” symbol to open the main document bookmark and access individual clauses.

    Launch the search function by one of the following methods:


    > Click on the bookmark “Search for term”
    > Go to the drop-down menu and select Edit > Search
    > Click on the binoculars in the menu bar
    > Use the key combination Ctrl + F

    Your search results will be marked in the documents. Progress to other search results by clicking
    on the bookmark “Continue search for same term” or use the F3 key.
