a. Sub point A- “An increasing number of people recounting excessive sexual
thoughts or behaviors have been categorized as suffering from sex
addiction or hypersexual disorder” (Briggs, 2017)
b. Sub point B- Most people don’t know that sex addiction is a “real
thing”, however, I have experienced the addiction first hand.
Sexual hyperactivity typically feeds off of underlying
emotions/feelings whether conscious or subconscious. In a
majority of cases, the sex addict will also have a co-addiction such
as drugs or gambling.
c. Sub point C- If one desired to seek help for themselves or
someone they love they could call (855) 454-0025 which is an (all
addictions help hotline.)
