The Montesco and Capuleto
A long time ago in a village called Verona there was a duo between
the workers of two rival families, the Montesco and the Capuleto. This
became exciting after taking out their swords,
the prince of Verona had appeared to declare that the next person who started
a fight will die, and this time he was saying it very seriously.
Then Romeo Montesco had arrived, and he hasn’t stop thinking about a
certain Rosalinda, Meanwhile Juliet Capuleto, a 13-year-old girl has just
learned that Paris, the most bachelor coveted from Verona, is interested in her,
and They will see each other that night at the masquerade dance that is being
celebrated in the house of the Capuleto. Romeo and his friends decide to dress
up and sneak into the dance, as Rosalinda is on the guest list.
Later in that night Romeo meets Juliet, the facts take an unexpected turn, how
can you expect regardless of the rivalry of their families they had find in love
instantly. This is a disastrous situation, but since they are two teenagers crazy
about love, they meet in secret and decide to get married.
Romeo agrees with Fray Lorenzo to organize the wedding, and Juliet gets her
babysitter to act as mediator. This meets with Romeo and his friend Mercutio
and they agree to take Juliet along with Fray Lorenzo.
Benvolio, another member of the Montesco, meets Teobaldo Capuleto, who
did not feel well that the Montesco had infiltrated his family's party. Romeo,
just married, is involved in a very tense situation, which worsens when
Teobaldo kills Mercutio and Romeo in turn kills Teobaldo; Romeo flees
quickly, but the prince ends up banishing him.
Juliet learns from her babysitter that her husband has just murdered his cousin,
but although the news saddens her, it does not affect her enough to stop
thinking about her wedding night. The nanny finds Romeo hidden in Fray
Lorenzo's house and he hatches a plan. They decide that Romeo will spend the
wedding night with Juliet, and then leave the city until the friar comes up with
the way for the prince of Verona to forgive him.
Meanwhile, in the house of the Capulets, the patriarch concludes that only a
link with Paris can please Juliet. After Juliet’s wedding night, she discovers
that she must marry Paris in two days. Even her babysitter agrees, since to her
it is as if Romeo is dead.
Juliet runs to Fray Lorenzo's house, where he gives a strange kiss to Paris and
then threatens to commit suicide. The friar comes up with an infallible plan
that does NOT entail any risk: drink a concoction that makes her appear dead
for 42 hours. Yes, not an hour more or an hour less. So Juliet returns home,
agrees to marry Paris and takes the poison to be taken to the family pantheon
where she will meet with Romeo, so that she can be with him again.
Unfortunately, Romeo, who is currently in Mantua, learns of Juliet’s "death"
rather than of the friar's plan. Then the wonderful idea occurs to him of buying
poison to go to the grave where Juliet is and kill himself, but not before killing
Paris and spending time with the "lifeless" body of his beloved.
Finally, he ingests the poison and dies just as Juliet wakes up. What a rage!
The friar, who appears at one point, tries to convince Juliet to flee, but she
refuses and stabs herself with a dagger. It is just then that literally everyone
appears at the same time and they find the lifeless bodies of the lovers. Friar
Lorenzo confesses everything and the patriarchs of the two families, moved by
the love story of the young people, decide to put an end to their rivalry.
