I wanted to reach out again, today, with an update on our progress to get you home.
As you know first-hand, this is an ever-changing situation as we work with U.S. authorities and more
than 60 countries around the world. Each country has rules and regulations for who can travel home,
and how, and when, and these procedures regularly change as the pandemic situation, itself, evolves
and changes, and each entity looks at how best to protect the communities they serve. Everyone
involved shares the common goal of getting you home safely and we continue to work collaboratively
around the clock to make this happen.
I mentioned in my Friday letter to you that the CDC has asked me and other cruise line leaders to sign a
letter limiting our options for getting you home and taking responsibility for your actions in order to
secure their approval to disembark you. In the spirit of doing everything we possibly can to get you
home, I have decided to sign this letter.
We have had success getting 3,289 Celebrity crew members safely home:
• 1,160 Indonesians returned home – some sailing aboard Royal ships and others by charter flights
• 400 Filipinos sailed home on both Celebrity and Royal ships
• 196 of our Mexican crew members returned by commercial flights
• 173 of our Ukrainian crew members returned by commercial flights
• 124 of our British crew members returned by commercial flights
• 122 American crew went home via commercial flights and private transport
• 115 Romanian crew on a charter flight
• The remaining 999 repatriated crew flew home commercially to more than 40 countries
Assuming that with the signed letter we are now able to move forward from the CDC’s perspective, I
wanted to share with you our latest plan to comply with their letter and work through travel restrictions
in different countries to get you home to your families.
Under these plans, we would transfer certain crew members by nationality onto different ships as
follows:
Caribbean, Central and South American crew: Transferring to Royal Caribbean’s Vision, Rhapsody and
Adventure. Vision would sail from Miami on May 15 and then sail to St. Kitts, Dominica, St. Lucia,
Grenada, Trinidad and St Vincent and the Grenadines, where she would end her voyage on June 7.
Rhapsody would sail on May 13 from Miami and sail to Cartagena, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras,

Guatemala, ending her voyage in Belize on May 23. Adventure would sail from the Bahamas on May 9
and sail to Haiti and Dominican Republic, ending her voyage in Jamaica on May 23. Please note that crew
from Barbados would be transferred to Royal Caribbean’s Explorer, Liberty and Harmony and be
repatriated to Barbados when those ships arrive there.
Filipino crew: Transfer onto Celebrity Equinox. Equinox would sail to Barbados, where we have asked to
operate charter flights to Manila every three days, beginning May 11. We are spacing the flights because
of the limited hotel and quarantine space right now for arriving travelers.
Indian crew: Transferring to Celebrity Infinity and departing within the next two weeks to Goa, arriving
in early June. The Indian government has shut down the country, except for ship repatriation. We are
working on transportation details to home cities from there.
Indonesian crew: Transfer to Royal Caribbean’s Explorer and Enchantment. Explorer would sail to
Barbados, where we have requested permission to fly charter flights May 9-12. Enchantment would sail
to Miami for a charter flight on May 15. All charters would stop in Jakarta and Denpasar.
US crew: American crew on ships close to the U.S. would be repatriated with private transportation
beginning as soon as possible, presumably within the next week. U.S. crew in Asia would be flown home
from the Philippines as soon as the Manila airport reopens. U.S. crew in the Med would be flown home
by May 20.
Millennium and Eclipse on the US West Coast: We are looking into moving both ships to Puerto
Vallarta in the next week to 10 days. We would then set-up one charter to the Philippines, one
charter to Barbados for Caribbean, Central and South American crew, as well as commercial
flights based on availability for our European, Canadian and International crew.
I would also like to mention that for those who do not want to leave the ship, you do not have to. We
will continue to offer you room and board on your ship.
This is the current path home we are working towards. As these plans solidify, and I’m sure there will be
changes, we will communicate with you along the way. Let me say, again, we will absolutely not stop our
efforts until we get you home.
On behalf of our entire Celebrity family, I continue to send you my thanks for your strength and positive,
can-do attitudes. We have always been there for each other, and we need that now more than ever.
