    GED 112 – SEC65

    FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT 2:
    1. As a university scholar, what is your curiosity? Explain how having a curious inquisitive
    mind will help academics like you in your field.

    My curiosity lies on the books of the course I am taking which is Bachelor of


    Science in Accountancy. Each book that we used is what I can say the reason why I really
    study because I am curious on how this course run and how it will help me in the future.
    Each of the lessons that I encounter makes me ask and made me curious specially when
    there are new terms that is being introduced to us by our professors. As an Accountancy
    student, having a curious inquisitive mind will help me know more and widen my
    thinking capabilities on how things work on my course, to discover and explore new
    things that can be added to my knowledge as a student, and to think of something that can
    help the society using the learnings that I learned in my course.

    2. The article presented 5 ways to bolster curiosity. Choose 1 way that best emulates your
    personality. Discuss how it can be applied in your life. Write a short narrative why this is
    important in reaching your highest potential as an individual.

    The best way to bolster my curiosity is by emphasizing my learning goals. As a


    student, keeping on track the things you want to achieve, reach, and accomplish depends
    on how you prioritize and how you organize it. Doing it orderly makes it easier to
    accomplish because you have the thinking of what to do first and what to take in action
    first. This can help me to be more productive in accomplishing goals that I intended to
    do. There are many things to learn that’s why I need to keep it in track so that I will not
    be confused and chaotic when it comes to my subject learning areas. Emphasizing
    leaning goals can help me reach my highest potential as an individual by taking it
    seriously and focusing to what should be done. Learning is hard when you don’t know
    what you want and what you want to achieve. There are many distractions that can hinder
    you to achieve something you fully desire. Achieving this will make you learn how to
    manage and prioritize something in your life.
