PREFACE

In order to achieve positive and concrete results with theoretical the exposure to real life
situation existing in corporate word is very much needed. In today’s scenario the practical
knowledge in education especially in professional course is very essential.

First project in MBA course and study content of such as practical knowledge it makes the
student confident and introduce them about their ability.

I am interested in finance so I have done my final project on topic “Foreign Direct Investment
In Retail Sector”.
EXECUTIVE SUMMRY

This Project Report is a part of MBA Curriculum of Kurukshetra University. This Report is
based on secondary data.

In this project firstly collecting all the information about the Foreign Direct Investment.
Information is collected through the secondary source.

The next part of the report, contains the objective of the study and different review of literature
given by different authors. The method of research design is descriptive in nature and study
setting is non-contrevied and data are collected at one time.

In next part of the report, collect all the data related to FDI different rate for retail sector are
given by the Government. The collective data shows that how organised or unorganised sector
affect by FDI. And how it affect the growth of the country.

In last we discuss how covid-19 impact the retail sector now days what are the challenges and
opportunities in retail sector.

So with the help of this study we analysis how FDI impact country growth, import and export of
the country.
