Day 1
Day 2
Day 3
11
I guess 7:13 a.m. was not that bad. Then, ate Vivian told us that apron is
necessary if we are washing plates to avoid stain in our white t-shirt. After the
discussion I help Liza in arranging the plastic Cellophanes in the bottle for
comfort and after arranging it I was commanded to buy some ingredients for
a dish order and again after that I was commanded to buy coconut and grind
it in the store. Then after that I found myself mixing the Afritada although it's
not yet finish but I already smell its delicious taste, its delicious. After our
lunch and also relax I join them to buy 5 kilos rice. Then after that we headed
home.
Day 4
I arrived at 7:03 a.m. but that time was fun and yet exhausted. Ralph and
I was task to buy ingredients , but we keep arguing about what is right to buy
like, what is bihon and pancit's difference. So much talk but then we ended
up buying all the ingredients and its heavy as, heavy as my body, hahahaha
joke. After that I smell the delicious bihon so I buy for 10 pesos but they give
it to me as free, just great. I accept it with a very wide smile. After arranging
the plates. I leisure myself by cleaning the used tables and cleaning the dirty
12
plates, bowls, glass, and etc. As usual the 3 girls are my companion in
heading home.
Day 5
I came to the building sweating because I thought I was late but from
them I realize that the time is not 8:00 it was 7:09 a.m. and for that, I sigh for
relief. Then I cut the pig's meat to cook it as pancit's ingredients. Slicing a
meat was not easy because it is thick and slippery, honestly I found out that it
smell's a bit nasty that's why I wash it 3 times like washing clothes to remove
its smell. I was disappointed because the smell remains but then ate Vivian
says that the smell is natural because due to black out. The meat was not
froze so in ends up smelling nasty.
Day 6
13
Today is
Saturday and supposedly there is no ojt because its weekend but then they
requested my presence on this day because the two employee will be ojt of
town so only one will remain and its difficult for her to handle things in the
"karenderya" without helpers. Ate Vivian explain that this day is substitute for
Monday so I wouldn't be going in Monday. So I say yes as an approval. I
thought I was the one coming, but the two Kent's, Brix,, Niño came upon
reading my message about the benefit in coming today. As I started my day, I
peel the carrots, ginger, and the villain onions, urgh ! K hate onions, it makes
me cry for no reason. My other task wasn't documented because no one
takes photos of me because no one's left aside the Mondaya's employee and
me.
Day 7
14
Today is Tuesday and I came here early as 6:49 in the morning. Then,
automatically I went to ate Bebe to help her cut the sweet potatoes leaves for
monggo ingredients. After that I become a photographer to my companion.
They do my job as a pay for the photos I take. I never said that but, they insist
that today I will be their photographer in hired hahahahaha. The rest event
was a good memory to tell about my companion.
Day 8
15
Day 9
I arrived at 7:20 in
the morning, in short I
was late ! Very late.
Well maybe because today is a relaxing day same as the other day. So I
16
learned that life is like a ball, it is moving in circular motion, today was not
busy but on the other day is very busy. Knowing that tomorrow is our last day
here. So we have planned to have a celebration as a memory in Mondaya's
Catering Services. So I was task to collect money for the celebration we have
agreed, but Niño and Samonte are exempted because they will be buying
drinks and makes buko salad. Washing, and sweeping the floor was the thing
I've done today.
Day 10
For me this day is the crucial day because today we will be graduating,
joke ! I mean this is our last day in our Work Immersion. Well, sad to say I
came late in the morning, it was already 7:23. Then after a conversation, I
was task to buy ingredients for our food preparation but sad to say that the
budget was not yet enough. After buying ingredients I wash the dirty dishes
because it seems that I'm the one who is not busy. Then, I help the two girls
17
in mixing the ingredients in our buko salad to make it tasty. After that, I went
to the counter to served the customers. At exactly 2:15 in the afternoon we
have our lunch and it was fun. Then, after that we headed home with a wide
smile in our face saying that "yes we did it ! Thank you Lord !
