Introduction
A condo, which is short for “condominium,” is a private
residence owned by an individual homeowner or family in a
building or community with multiple units or townhouses.
Although they are usually part of a larger high-rise building,
“detached condominiums” also exist. The sales information of
Boston-Condo is used here to analyze, interpret and observe
insights for the same.

The following are the insights observed in the given Boston


Condo Info.xlsx file,
1. Top/Bottom Average Sales vs. Street Name: This sheet
helps us in identifying the most and least cost condos in
various Streets. Cambridge pky in Area E is the costliest street
with average sales of 458.08K and Home Ave from SH area has
the least average value of 58 K in the entire sales. An
Interactive filter is created using combined sets so that based
on requirements, Top/Bottom most sales can be sought out.

2. Top N premium Condos in Areas: Usually in the real


estate market, areas are categorized as Prime and Non-Prime
areas based on the demand and hence the value per square feet is
slightly higher compared to other areas. In the Boston Condos
sales market, Area M is considered as Top Premium with an
average sales price of 17.70 M and followed by HS with 15.66 M.
The sales price is calculated based on the final price (Sales Price +
Tax). The filter here helps us in identifying the Top N premium
condos based on the user's choice.
