2.1 Package
The package of the machine includes the technical documentation in a special
container marked with the machine serial number; the documentation concer-
ning the accessories and commercial spare parts is placed in the internal po-
cket in the electric switchgear.
Moreover, a wooden box is delivered with the set of tools for application of the
material for fastening the machine to the foundation (vials with chemical glue),
and other accessories delivered on request.
However, the machine can already be equipped with accessories demanded
by the customer.
The machine can be sent as follows:.
• standard, where the usual package is used, with fixing on two boards (placed
on a flat basis of a truck)
• on a pallet adapted to lifting with a lift truck
• in a packing case, for sea transport
• in a packing case, for air transport
Machines dispatched/received without a pallet should be carried on trucks with
a wooden bed.

J The means of protection in transportation (the red ones), the hitches, rings,
wrappings included in the outfit of the machine should be stored in a secured
container kept in a dry place, to be used for future transportation of the
machine..
Before using next time take the presented instructions into account and check
the condition of the wrappings.
b The machine can be lifted only by the authorized staff, with the crane and using
with the wrappings included in the outfit of the machine..
• The lift truck of minimum hoisting capacity 8000 kg. (only when the machine
is placed and fixed on a metal pallet for a container).
N Inspect if the lugs for lifting and the lifting slings are properly fastened and are
at the correct places.
b These operations should be carried out only by the highly skilled and
experienced personnel.
Accurately check the actual weight of the machine and the package.
N o not use this method for machines without the wooden panel
• Make sure that the hoisting capacity of the fork-lift truck is adequate for the
load weight
• Make sure that the forks are of appropriate length - at least the width of the
panel of the machine.
• Slip the full length of the forks under the panel of the machine.
• Operate the truck at the minimum speed, avoiding jerks or shocks, and lift
the load only as high as necessary height.
• Operate the crane at minimum speed, avoiding jerks or shocks and lift the
load only by the minimum necessary height.

• Operate the crane to obtain the uniform tension of all lifting swings.
• Lift the chip conveyor from the transportation facility (truck) or from the pa-
nel.
• Carry over the chip conveyor to the installation place..
7 Installation
Frequency 60 Hz ( option )
The neutral wire is not necessary for installing the machine .
The indicated apparent power (S in kVA) refers to the maximum stage of ma-
chine amplification. When using the proper motors in operational mode S6 (=
40%), the power can temporarily increase by about 50%.
The machine is designed for connection in the four-wire system (three phases
and PE wire).
b The electrical connection of the machine can only be carried out by the
qualified and trained technician. The electric data presented in the cubicle
switchgear and in the electric circuit diagram should be respected.
D When connecting, make sure that the feeder cable connecting to the net-
work is not powered.
• The feeder cable should be put through the opening in the floor (1).
• Connect the conductors to terminals situated in the terminal strip (2)..
- Phases L1, L2, L3
- Protecting wire PE.
- Neutral wire N (if present).
• Connect to achieve the right-rotating field.

7.6.2 Connecting the pneumatic circuitry to the pneumatic system of the plant
Some parts of the machine are air-operated and should be connected to the
central pneumatic system equipped with an air filtration system.
The use of non-filtrated air can cause malfunction and damage to the machine
after some time. Connect the hose (1) to the pipe connector (2) situated on the
plate on back of the machine, to the line able to withstand the pressure about
5 - 6 bar.
7.7 Fillings
7.7.1 Fluids
The assignment of fluids and designation of the lubricating points presented in
this handbook comply with DIN 51 502 Standard.
The use of appropriate fluids is essential to the safe operation and long life of
the machine. In general, the machine is delivered without fluids. It is recom-
mended to continue using the fluids indicated for the first filling (see: the in-
struction).
If this is not possible, use other fluids as indicated in the table enclosed.
To avoid the incompatibility of the mixture, we recommend using the fluids of
the same brand, if possible.
7.7.2 Recommendation
TOnly the usage of fluids of these types warrants the reliable functioning of the
machine.
The manufacturers of fluids have technical service which can pass to you the
detail information and recommendations regarding their application.
N Due to some ingredients (additions), these products are the potential source of
risk to human health and may cause environmental pollution.
Their choice and usage depends exclusively on the user. The servicing in-
struction elaborated by the manufacturer should include the following informa-
tion to define the way of using the product:
• definition of the substance,
• presentation of the risk for human health/life and possible environmental
impact,
• protection means and rules of proceeding, for example:
- recommendation to wear the protective shoes of the resistant material,
- caution to keep these substances away from skin and eyes,
- caution to avoid breathing in the vapours or sprayed substances,
- no smoking during handling these fluids/oils.
The fumes of the lubricant can be generated during machining.

b The first start-up of the machine should be carried out by the specialized
technical personnel of the competent DMG.
The final customer in whose place the final acceptance of the machine shall be
performed (having already prepared the premises for installation of the
machine and all other necessary things - see chapter "Installation") should
agree with the competent DMG on the first intervention relating to the start-up
of the machine.
Before moving the machine over, the axes, the guard and the console should
be blocked using the appropriate blocking fixtures (see: paragraph on blocking
for transport)
The machine should be loaded with use of "lifting the machine with bands"
system (see: paragraph "Loading/unloading the machine").

• Empty the following tanks and circuits:
- The hydraulic circuit.
- The lubricating circuit.
- The oil delivery and lubrication unit.
- The chip ejector.
- The additional container and filters (if present).
- The cyclic cooling system (air conditioner).
10.3.2.2 Transport
Remaining risk
There is no risk after the deactivation of the machine, provided that all the in-
dications presented in the deactivation procedure of the machine have been
observed.
Disposal
The machine is made of a non-biodegradable material.
The machine should be transported to the authorized breaker's yard.
The removed fluids and filters, such as:
• spent coolant-lubricant,
• hydraulic oils and greases,
• fluid for hermetic circuits,
• lubricating media, etc.
may not be discharged to the environment, but instead should be collected
and passed to the collecting plant.
