By your grace, the Master Key to removing the sin of ‘killing a Brahmin’(neglecting the Self) is
surrendering to the Master.

Ekā-gre Mana Svastha Karoni.
↑
Baisa Padmāsani Mudrā Lāva Ātma-bhāshani.

He.” Short and sweet comes right there; experience it in your own Self.
Nila-varna Te Bīmbākāshi.
↑
Čaitanyā-či Musa Tyā-madhye Vastu Jadali Ase.
In Parabrahma, the mould of consciousness has infinite varieties of creation and every creation
made, is supported by the Self, like Brahma from the navel of Lord Vishnu, from where all
creation comes.
31
Bija-mantra Hā Japa Gāyatri.
↑
Ashto-prahara Yojī-to Sādhana Ghadī Pala Ghadī Sā-dhīto.

and you’ll find the way.
Guru-putra To Gnyāna-vanta.
↑
Aikunī Tal-līna Hoya Lungarā Vyartha Čāvati Vāhe. |4|
With this knowledge, as a disciple of a real Master, I praise my Master. A good disciple follows

Ishwara[Vishva-murti].
33
↑ ↑
Auta-pitha-varuti Shobhe Bari (2). Paramānanda Āhe Tayā Ghari.

use of it?
Jav-varī Drudhatā Tav-vari Yā Tanu-či Priti. Jara-jara Za-līyā Ava-ghe-čī Nīndaka Hoti.
As long as the body is strong, you feel happiness in the body. When it becomes old and
decaying, everybody hates you.
↑
Yači Du-hu-khe Tujalā Mi Sāngū Kīti. Mha-nunī Yeto Shridhara Kāku-lati.
So much unhappiness and bad words from others! While young, know the Reality. Shridhar

to great efforts to teach me.
↑
Kāya Dyāve Tyāsi Vhāve Uta-rāī (2). Thevī-tā Hā Pāyi (3). Jiva Thodā.
What can I possibly offer to repay you? You have given real understanding which cannot be
repaid. Even if I offer my ego it is not enough.
↑
Tukā Mhane Vatsa Dhenu-večya Čītti (2). Taise Maja Ye-the (3). Sāmbhā-līti.
Tuka says, just like a cow always thinks of her calf, likewise Saints love me unconditionally and
offer me refuge, protecting me everywhere.
6.
↑
☆ Zāli Sandhyā (2), Sandeha Māzā Gelā. Ātmā-rāma Hrudayi Saha-ji Ālā.
This doubt, “I am the body” is gone, by your grace and automatically I am He.
35
Grace of Master is knowledge, like Ganges and Bhagirathi; His two feet are forgiveness and
peace, like Yamuna and Saraswati.
↑
Asī-pade Ekatra Jethe Hoti. Svānubhava Snāna He Mukta-sthīti.
Hence these (holy rivers) are one in Sadguru, and His grace is ever-flowing liberation for me.
↑
Shama Dama Angi Vībhūtī Le-pana. Vāče Uč-čāri Keshava-Nārāyana.

Editor’s Note
This is an English transliteration text based on the actual bhajans sung in the Ranjit
Ashram of Shri Ramakant Maharaj in Nashik. Devotees are expected to participate in the
singing of at least the four basic bhajans(Kakad Arati, Morning Bhajan, Afternoon Bhajan
and Night Bhajan). But there are many other songs sung in the Night Bhajans, and on
Sundays and some special days. In Chapter 5, where most of these songs appear, they are
arranged in the same order in its Marathi sourcebook Paramārtha-mārga Pradip(2011).
However, the actual order of these songs are not the same as in this text. For example,
the later part(that is, after Bhav-parak) of a Sunday Night Bhajan could go on like this:
‘Karī Sukhe Shayana’(Shej-Āratis, 8) → ‘Asankhyāta Te’(Karuna Ashtaks, Sunday) → ‘Pālanā
Tuzā’(Pālanās, 4) → ‘Kāya Bhitī’(Abhai-dān) or ‘Sadguru Sarikha’ song → ‘Jyāhi Deūni’
(Sadguru-stavan) → ‘Chanda Manā’(Vīshesha Padas, 27).
English translation of the Marathi sentences are based on two English bhajan texts,
Pathway to Understanding(2001) and From Bondage to Liberation(2001). In the present
text, slight editing was done to enhance word-to-word correspondence. But in many places,
English translations are not available yet.
All the refrains in the bhajans are repeated in full sentences. They are shown by a star
mark(☆). Those parts when you take a turning movement where you stand while singing
bhajans, are shown by a round mark(○). And those parts beginning with a relatively
higher tone are shown by an upward arrow mark(↑). Some of the songs are referred to
their corresponding mp3 files on the Official Website(http://www.ramakantmaharaj.net).
On Marathi Pronunciation
1. This text distinguishes long vowels from short vowels. This difference in the length
of the vowels are often reflected in the actual bhajans. Long vowel ā is pronounced
as a clear [ɑ:] with a mouth opened bigger than a, which sometimes sounds like [ʌ].
2. In this text, č is pronounced differently from ch. And k and kh, p and ph, t and th also
are different. Note that č, k, p and t are pronounced somewhat like cch, kk, pp and tt.
And z is a simpler spelling of original jh, which is pronounced more softly than j.
91
3. In Marathi language, gnya-(originally, dnya-) is not pronounced as ‘g+nya-’. It is
pronounced much like gya- with a nasal sound in g.
4. In Marathi language, v is pronounced more or less like between ‘v’ and ‘w’. But
when it comes just in front or behind of a consonant, it is pronounced as ‘w’[u]. For
example, ‘Bhav-parak’ is pronounced as ‘Bhau-parak’, ‘Shav-vata’ as ‘Shau-vata’, and
‘Advait’ as ‘Adwait’. However, some familiar words still contain ‘w’ spelling, like
‘swarupa’, ‘Swami’, ‘Saraswati’.
