Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of factors that will be affecting food
market on consumer satisfaction in restaurants. The researcher will tell that the sample of
the study consists upon various dependent variables such as trust, quality, environment,
and CSR activity. Moreover, the researcher in this study will see that the purpose is also to
find out about different variables like taste, quality, environment and speed of service that
will influence the customer or not. The methodology that will be used by the researcher in
this research will be descriptive research and hypothesis, as most of the data will already
available in the consumer market. Consumers have many different names to choose from,
and eventually they will go for the best value for money. Researcher will conduct the survey.
Questionnaires will convey through the consumer's who visited fast food restaurants.
Researcher also gathers preliminary data through personal contact, WhatsApp or emails.
The survey shows most of the people like to eat fast food and those who want to dine inn in
the restaurants also prefer the environment of the restaurant. The quality of the food and
it’s price is also the most important and preferable thing for consumers. The limitations of
the study are how food market interacts their consumers and what the impact is. So in this
study researcher targets the foodie people in all over Karachi who love to eat fast food.
Research Questions:
In this research I provided 4 questions to the individuals so that I got their respondents the
questions are, Is the location of the restaurants are important for customers?Are customers
prefer good environment of the restaurants?Can customers compromise on quality of food?
How much taste & flavor is important for customers? Through these questions I can go
moreover through my research.
Research Methodology
The philosophy utilized in a test is basic to its prosperity, and terrible technique has ruined
huge number of examination projects. So at whatever point a bit of examination is distributed
in a logical or clinical diary, the analysts in every case cautiously portray their philosophy; in
any case, different researchers couldn't in any way, shape or form judge the nature of what
they've done. The method I used is descriptive and also used co-relation. In this method if the
impact is negative on one side then other will be positive and vice versa. I used to collected
data more than one time from different places as per the requirement.
Research objectives:
As we have discussed above that the food market is going to be next generation most
popular market as people wants to eat and drink something special something that can
fulfills their needs of self actualization so for that many of the researcher are engaged to put
their efforts on the serious note that what aspects we can apply to gather more customer
loyalty and satisfaction from the consumer on that basis I have conducted this research to
fulfill the requirement and to disclose what suitable variables is having impact on food
market for that I have built my research objective i.e to find out relationship between
quality food and trust on customer satisfaction.
The theoretical framework is the structure that can hold or support a theory of a research
study. The theoretical framework introduces and describes the theory that explains why the
research problem under study exists. As in our theoretical framework we have seen that we
have three independent variables i.e trust quality and environment and on the other hand
we have dependent variable i.e customer satisfaction which shows and support the study
the all of these independent is directly having impact on the customer satisfaction.
Problem Statement:
I have been continuously watching in this era the food market is going to meet their goals
and objectives continuously and even small businesses can prosper if they are offering a
good quality or innovative dishes to the consumer. In this technological generation we have
seen that most of the people are finding a more convenient and more feasible ways to get
their favorites and due to which the market is having a huge number of competitors in the
market.
Hypothesis:
As in my research I have set 4 normal or 4 null hypothesis based on my variables i.e Trust,
Quality and Environment and I have done this through reading about many of the research
articles to find out which hypothesis sets perfect on my research. In my hypothesis I have
found that the null hypothesis having a minimal effect upon my dependent variable.
The dependent variable that is customer satisfaction towards the food market is more likely
derived through these built up hypothesis.
Literature Review:
In literature review I have discussed aspects of food market more proffered by consumer in
Pakistan and we have seen that many of the consumer more likely to have trust issue upon
different food markets. In my literature I have discussed precisely about some theories
related my literature and some references of the authors from which I have got some
intellectual study about the topic of my research. On the other hand I have took some help
from different research articles on internet to check the reliability of my research.
RESULTS AND ANALYSIS
After conducting all the respondents’ responses we have built some SPSS sheet to find out our
results of research and what we have found is discussed below as per topic:
Frequency:
Descriptive Statistics:
As in descriptive statistics the SPSS result shows that the mean of responses we have got is
marked their answers between agree to strongly agree which clearly shows that the
questionnaire we have made to be filled from the responses having a acceptance of about
75% and having the question related to our research topic.
Correlation:
Correlation table shows us that how much relation is having between dependent and
independent variables is and in my research I have derived the answers that the QUALITY is
the independent variable having a highest relation with the dependent variable i.e customer
satisfaction.
Model summary:
In Model summary we have disclosed that we have negatively strong relation which means
Negative correlation is a relationship between two variables in which one variable increases
as the other decreases, and vice versa. In statistics, a perfect negative correlation is
represented by the value -1, a 0 indicates no correlation, and a +1 indicates a perfect
positive correlation.
Anova:
Analysis of variance (ANOVA) is a statistical technique that is used to check if the means of
two or more groups are significantly different from each other. ANOVA checks the impact of
one or more factors by comparing the means of different samples. In my research the anova
is having sig value is minimum which shows that the researcher have to reject the null
hypothesis thus it shows that all the independent variables.
In the end we have found that the quality is the one of the most effective variable to gather
customer satisfaction in food market. Food quality is an important food manufacturing
requirement, because food consumers are susceptible to any form of contamination that
may occur during the manufacturing process.
