Wouldn't it be awesome if Disney worked together with Guillermo
and made a feature animated horror?
Well, so far as we know, they are not. So we, at ODD Animation

Pictures, are working are working hard on a short film that has
these qualities!
Cieco is an animated thriller about a small fox pup that gets
lost in the deep dark woods an disappears
The Movie
Picture Long time ago a strong spirit warrior was

banished down to earth into the old aged woods.
Angry and ashamed o fhis judgment he turned to
stoned and became part of the old woods.
While time passed a Demon sneaked in and grew
stronger, polluting everything to black.

Picture 1000 years forward we meet a young spiritedly

fox girl - Cieco! Wild, curious and unafraid of
the world around her. She and her mother lives in a field
on the edge of the aged woods.
Picture One day Cieco is playing in the field and meet a new
friend. Despite her mother warnings, she decides to sneak away with
her friend into the woods.

Cieco is a 3D non-dialogue animated horror short film! DOn't judge it by it's fairy
tale cover, underneath it is a grim tale. There is a mighty hunger for more mature
animation films todady, especially when it is leaning to horror. Cieco will be your
love, your angst and the shit in your pants. Be prepared for some screams and don't
blink!
This movie has been in the working since 2014 when the idea of the film was born: A
lost fox pvp, wandering around deep in the woods. John Bauer meets red little
riding hood. The idea was left in a map, until 2018 it was decided, let's make the
film!
Cieco is inspired by the Swedish Artist John Bauer and the storytellers Brothers
Grimm. This film will be as much as an art work in style as in movie storytelling.

The Team
Founder of ODD/ Director, Carina Henriksson

A former animator and life-time work being a trickster. Her abilities are eating an
unhealthy amount of chocolate and biting. Watch out, playing dirty is her middle
name.
Writing and painting since childhood and after working as a character Animater in
france and England, she started the studio ODD and the project Cieco, Growing up in
the deeps woods of Sweden she has always been inspired by John Bauer's art and dark
fold tales. Carina has been working on Cieco full-time for 2 years.
Art Director / Johannes Othen
Art designer and veteran dreamer. Johannes abilities are cleaning and a
proffesional Dungen dweller. If there is a mess somewhere, this is your guy!
Johannes went to a high school where he first studied 3D graphic for games when he
found his true calling: drawing, and he has been drawing ever since, never stoping.
AFter he has been designing game trailers, teaching 2D animation and worked on the
film "Den blomster tid nu kommer". He met Carina and joined ODD and been creative
art dictor for Cieco the last 2 years.

We have pitched the film around in Sweden and there has been interests, but we have
decided to create this animated short on our own terms to keep our freedom and stay
close of what we want to make. So, why are we on Kickstarter? Frankly - our money
has been used up.
So far we have been working on this project full time with no incomst from other
jobs. The film has been funded from our own money and savings with some grants here
and there as a side bonus. To be able to go on with this film and give you a
feature standard film we need help! We need you! Give us so we can give you.

Is animation expensive? Let me explain
This is how animation works, to get 1 second of animation you need 24-25 pictures.
For one minute you need 25x60=1500 pictures. How much does these precious seconds
cost now? Did you know that Tangled costed $49059dollar/second? They had 68
animators and the film was 140min long. Yes, yes, it is all true.
For an animator to animate high quality animations that person would need a week to
animate 4-5 seconds of animation, add feedback and retokes to that. Sometimes you
don't even get that animation done in a week.
But we are not Pixar, and our film will not be 140min, it will be 15-20min. Funding
us will mean that you will be our hero, make us able to continue to focus on
working with Cieco and we can invite great artists to work with us! Let me show you
where you money will go on Cieco:

stage now but with more funding we would be able to go right into Post-Production.

Riesgos y desaf�os
We have made sure to set rewards that are achievable for us to give to all the
backers to make sure to please all people. The film are set to be finished in year
2022 in May to give room for any possible delays. The risks that could possibly
happens if we get funded is that the film will be released earlier, or at the time
we have stated but will be in a fekking awesome feature quality level!
If any problems do pop up we will be up front about it and communicate it to the
people and work as fast as possible to fix them!
