Established in 2011, Jarallah German Specialized Clinic, Building 1
was the first ever outpatient clinic located in Hawally, Kuwait, with
both ISO and TÜV Rheinland Germany Accreditation. It was
the only clinic and first of its kind in Kuwait, to have a multi derma
unit in the same building with more than 6 units. Jarallah German
Specialized Clinic has been offering the highest standard of
German Specialized Healthcare since 2011 to Kuwaiti Nationals,
Expatriate-Residents & Visitors. It is one of the best well known,

Management and Logistics Services are the backbone of KMI. As this company's priority is to serve with Excellence

Human Resources with its sub departments, Recruitment - Personnel – Government relations handling, seeks top

visiting doctors efficiently settled with facilitated processes of legal residence and medical licenses. KMI is composed

KMI'S Goverment Relations sub department, is related to Human
Resources allowing smooth procedures to issue valid documents,
that enable our medical or non-medical staff to practice their work
efficiently.

KMIʼs Legal Consultancy Group – The Taher Group Law Firm - one of the leading local, regional and International law
Firm with global standards in terms of provision of legal services, caters and delivers to the legal actions and
consultancies to our Medical Legal requirements.

Taher Group Law Firm has conducted training sessions for all our Department Receptions on the legal aspects,
pertaining to the duties of the Receptionists in the medical departments.
ACCOUNTING & FINANCE
KMIʼs Finance teamʼs main objective is to accurately prepare the
financial statements: (Balance Sheets, Income Statement & Cash
Flow Statement). The Finance team processes the organizations
transactionʼs that are collected, recorded and presented.

Our team along with a specialized well experienced, Finance

Controller, co-ordinates in planning, forecasting and assisting KMIʼs
Top Management in facilitating efficient solution and statistics.
MEDIA & MARKETING
Our team is in active relation with all head of units and Medical

at the clinic along with the Doctors / Beauticians to create all-round

INFORMATION & TECHNOLOGY ( IT )
IT Department is the backbone for a smooth operation and is
responsible for providing direct operation assistance in software
use and data management to all areas in the organization. We
adopt new technologies to safeguard our medical data and with
our innovative Healthcare ERP, accessing medical records and
patientʼs history is made available with just a few clicks. KMI has an
in-house improvement of IT system with local and individual needs
with good and clear statistics for development.
BIO MEDICAL & ENGINEERING
Our expertise and competences include the resolution of
problems of installation and maintenance of medical equipment
according to ISO standards, certification and management of
biomedical waste for safe and environmentally friendly disposal.
Our Biomedical department manages over 100 Laser Machines
and other various types of equipmentʼs over 34 Dental Chairs etc.
The Bio Medical team regularly organizes workshops and training
courses for our medical staff, in order to familiarize with the
operation of real machines in different departments.

The responsibility of the laundry department not only involves managing the technical operations but also making other
decisions.This includes the determination of the type of linen to be purchased, the quantity necessary to be kept in stock,
establishment of quotas for various places where they are used. The functions of the laundry services.

1. Collecting soiled linen from various places.

2. Sorting the linen and processing them.
3. Inspecting and repairing or replacing damaged materials.
4. Distributing clean linen to the respective user departments.
MEDICAL RECORDS/FILING DEPARTMENT
KMI has a separate Filing/Medical Record Unit which has a filing
system that takes care of the patientʼs files and has a smooth
and professional service of providing files to the respected
departments in a professional manner. It is the one of the
youngest and the largest Filing Department in the healthcare
service in Kuwait.
CALL CENTER
Our professional Call Center Representatives, work closely with
other KMI team members to provide outstanding service to our
customers by answering questions, handling complaints,
telemarketing and troubleshooting problems with our services.

They are also fully intergated with the Event Team and the Media
Marketing Team for the development of the KMI strategic plans.
RECEPTION
We have a full-fledged, in-house reception department, which is mainly responsible for managing front-desk of our
clinics, lobby areas, reception-areas adjoining the doctorʼs consulting office and at various other strategic positions
within the organisation.

Reception Department organises regular trainings for updating the receptionists up to the highest professional level.

Our Infection Control Department is comprised of well trained Infection Control Chairman and members who
complies with the international and local standards and guidelines for Infection Control. This department oversees
the management and implementation of Infection Control guidelines all over our centers which includes but not
limited to, waste management, prevention of healthcare associated infections, immunization and vaccinations of staff
and patients.

Our main goal in this department is to protect the patient, healthcare co-workers, visitors, and others in the
healthcare environment.
LABORATORY
KMI Clinical Laboratory provides highly professional laboratory
services for all kind of specialities. Our laboratory is the only lab in
the private health sector in Kuwait, managed by qualified British
educated and trained management beside a qualified team of
technologists and the state of the art equipments . Our
participation in an international quality assurance program
guarantees the best results. KMI Laboratory provides the facility of
sending samples of sophisticated tests overseas to laboratories
in the USA, Europe and others, if needed. We offer home visit services for blood collection.
NURSING DEPARTMENT
The Nursing Department of KMI-started with only 10 Nursing Staff and grew to over more than 300 staff in a span
of 8 years to cater to the patient needs and demands. We at KMI have qualified and licensed staff, and we are proud
of our nursing department achievements, which includes competency in emergency management due to continuous
training conducted in Basic Life Support (CPR) and First Aid in our center. This also includes practice drills to enhance
and evaluate the effectiveness of these trainings. Aside from these courses, nursing department staff also receives
courses in infection control, customer services skills, and quality management skills. These courses help our staff
become better rounded and function in every aspect of responsibilities or tasks they are given and in return, they give
quality and excellent care services to all of our clients.

Kuwait Medical International (KMI) Mobile Application (currently for iOS) is a multi-lingual (English and Arabic), state-of-the-art
customized, designed, developed and built to facilitate online consolation between the specialist doctors and patients in a secure
and easy to use manner. Apart from online consultation, this mobile app also offers the following additional features:
Detailed information, about all clinics and medical centerʼs that are managed by KMI, including featured doctors, specialization,
location map, driving directions etc.

We are preparing for V1.2 which will enhance other features like Social Media accounts integration, payment gateway, and Patients
Medical records integration.
EVENT & PUBLIC RELATION DEPARTMENT
Understanding the needs and importance of participating in
exhibitions and events, KMI management has established a special
department called “Event & Public Relation Department, the
objective for establishing this department is “effective promotion
with good feedback “, the major functions of the department
includes attending all the exhibitions and events which happens in
and around Kuwait as well participating in external exhibitions and

VISITING DOCTORS PROGRAM
KMI is sharing a close relationship with the German Embassy, The German Hospital and have contracts with the Local
Healthcare Sectors and the Institutions in Germany. KMI exists to enable growth of specialized German Healthcare in
Kuwait and to create a platform for specialist medical practitioners to excel in their respective areas of specialization. It
is at KMI only that we have visiting doctors visiting our Clinics in an around as many a times in a year. During the Doctorsʼ
visits, our support staff at KMI offers services right from the point of arrival at the airport until the departure back to the
airport.

We have a range of Doctors visiting us on a regular schedule practising in our Clinics. One of the most famous Visiting
Doctor we have is Prof. Dr. Paul Fabricius who has visited Kuwait as a Visiting Doctor for over 120 times. Prof. Fabrcius
has published his book on his Visit to Kuwait in German Language during the 2017 Book Exhibition.

AMBULANCE - 24x7 EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE

KMIʼs Ambulance Service provides immediate medical assistance and a 24 hour emergency assistance of home care
nursing service. Our Ambulance service team includes an Ambulance Technician and Paramedic. They are well-trained in
first-aid skills in order to deal with cardiac arrests, profuse bleeding, and road accidents, crush and fall injuries, and much
more. The Ambulances are well equipped with pre-hospital emergency machines to give temporary medical assistance
