LIP-6800 series LIP-6800 series : An array of terminals with rich telephony features to meet your office communications needs. The LIP-6800 series IP phones are designed to enable real-time voice communication over IP networks. Employing internationally recognized standard protocols, SIP or MGCP, the LIP-6800 series phones interoperate with major soft-switch solutions to access all the features and value added functionality of the hosting servers. LG-Nortel offers a broad array of IP terminals: from the basic 6804 lobby phone, to the 6830 manager phone, to the DSS attendant console, the 6800 series phones address the needs of your office communications. The LIP-6824LD multimedia phone with WinCE addresses higher end needs for a truly integrated voice/data terminal, and is ideal where unique application support is needed. For in-office mobility, the LG-Nortel WIT-300H supports 802.11b for wireless LAN voice communications using standard access points. By defining a SLA (Shared Line Appearance) button for DSS/BLF Coverage operation, the user gains one button access to the functions most needed by the Answering/coverage position. The DSS (Direct Station Selection) function, dials the idle extension for transfers or direct calling, the BLF (Busy Lamp Field) function indicates the line (user) status, busy, idle or hold and the Call Coverage function gives the user direct access to incoming calls.
