    of Php5,000,000.00 Plus Interests Due at
    2% Per Day

    Dear Sir/Ma’m,
    We write on behalf of our client, ______________________________, in connection with the
    amount of Php5,000,000.00 plus two percent (2%) interests due per day which you owed him.
    As you will know, sometime in October 2020, while playing/gambling at the
    ______________________________, you asked him if he could facilitate or get money for you which
    amount of money is subject to interest at two percent (2%) per day (which is the usual interest rate inside
    casino). On various dates, particularly on October 12, 13, & 16, 2020, he loaned/gave you the total amount
    of Php5,000,000.00 for which you issued checks as follows, to wit:
    [1] Security Bank Check No. 0330172 dated 12 October 2020 in the
    amount of Php1,000,000.00;
    [2] Security Bank Check No. 0330174 dated 13 October 2020 in the
    amount of Php1,000,000.00; and,
    [3] Security Bank Check No. 0330180 dated 16 October 2020 in the
    amount Php3,000,000.00.
    As what you agreed with him, said amount is subject to two percent (2%) interest rate per day.
    Unfortunately, when encashed or deposited, said checks bounced due to “account closed.” Clearly, from
    the time you issued said checks, you know for a fact that the account was already closed signifying your
    fraud and bad faith. Our client has already demanded repeatedly and many times for you to pay said
    amount covered by the checks you issued but all to no avail.
    In this regard, FINAL DEMAND is hereby made upon you to pay said amount plus interest due at
    the rate of two percent (2%) per day within ten (10) days from your receipt hereof. Otherwise, should you
    fail to heed this demand, it is much to our regret that we shall be constrained to institute against you the
    appropriate legal action/s in court, including the filing of appropriate criminal case, to protect the rights and
    interests of our clients.
    We hasten to add here that we are serious on this matter and if only to spare yourselves the
    hazards, unnecessary expenses and inconvenience inherent in court litigation which you will surely incur,
    we advise that you should really give this matter your preferential attention and utmost concern.
