    TECHNICAL FEATURES

    MAR-IX inverter chiller units are designed in such way


    - Equipped with variable capacity rotary compressor
    that all refrigeration components are placed in a
    - Filled with environmental friendly refrigerant
    stainless steel housing. This ensures sound reduction
    - Mainly manufactured from stainless steel
    and protection of the chiller against conditions in an
    - Sea water resistant condenser
    engine room or other technical space. A major - Sea water resistant water pump
    advantage of the compact design it that the chiller - Standard equipped with vibration absorbers
    occupies little space. - Pressure and temperature protected
    - Low current
    The MAR-IX AIV series chiller units are equipped with - Quiet operation
    inverter technology which means that the chiller will - Compact system
    not switch on and off the compressor, but varies in - No current peak at start-up
    speed to control the cooling capacity. By using - Energy saving
    this inverter technology current peaks belong to the
    past and the electric system on board the ship will not
    be disrupted. AIV units are standard suitable for the
    most common power supplies, and will function on 50
    STANDARD SUPPLY
    as well as 60Hz.

    All units are equipped with a sea water-cooled - Chiller unit

    is a high efficient condenser that can be connected - Spare part list

    The AIV series chiller units can be connected to all
    MAR-IX fan coil units and controlled by our electronics
    with or without communication.
    OPTIONAL
    If the AIV chiller is connected to the MAR-IX
    communication system, the chiller will also adjust its
    capacity to the power requirements of the areas which - Sea water kit
