1 Production introduction
The laminar flow type of TOPLED Series Surgery Shadowless Lamp is an ideal lighting
apparatus of the modern operating room. The airtight streamline lamp holder ensures that the
purified air can convect smoothly. TOPLED series surgery shadowless lamp adopts imported
LED as its light source, working with advanced focus lens and the tailormade lens holder，
which effectively focus the rays emitted by LED light source and meet the operation lighting
requirement of illumination intensity, shadowless degree and focus depth. Advanced design
idea used, line of beauty has been interpreted well. The spectrum of LED is close to the sun's
rays that effectively controlled the color temperature and coloration of the light. The LED has
a long service life and has the characteristics of cold light which provide favorable conditions
for the recovery of patients. The disassemble handle cover adopt engineering plastic, which
can make high-temperature autoclaving disinfect.

TOPLED series Surgery Shadowless Lamp consists of 4 parts: The rotation arm, the balance
arm, the lamp holder and the electric control unit. The lamp holder is used for lighting; The
balance arm is used for hanging lamp holder and making lamp holder keep equilibrium and
arbitrary to orientate within the range of activity; The rotation arm is used for hanging lamp
holder and balance arm and making them arbitrary to move and orientate within the range of
activity; The electric control unit is used for controlling the irradiation of lamp holder.
2 Installation
2.1 Condition and parameter
1) Installation personnel should understand whether users' installation terms accord with the
installation requirement for the surgery shadowless lamp. Usually the installation height
of the operating room is 2900-3100
2900-3100mm。
2) When the height of installation is lower than 2900mm or higher than 3100 mm, you should
contact manufacturer and put in the written requirement

3) Request the user to have the fixed embedded part at the installation place

4) Request the user to save enough length of the power line at the installation place
place.
5) If decorative interlayer of operation ceiling used, request the user to elongate embedded
part to the inside of decorative interlayer and scoop up a 320mm hole at the installation
place.

6) If the installation condition is special, please contact the manufacturer, the manufacturer
will provide installation plan.

2.2 Attentions
Installation of the surgery shadowless lamp has the strict request. When installing it, the user
should read carefully of the product manual.
1) Please do not scratch or knock the glass cover of the lamp.
2) If any unusual problem, please cut off power in time and apply for repair.
3) The surgery shadowless lamp is a hanging equipment. To avoid possible accident, please
check the fasteners frequently to make sure the fasteners are not flexible.
4) To avoid security accident, Personnel without the authorization of our company is NOT
allowed to disassemble or refit the surgery shadowless lamp.
The normal life span of the surgery shadowless lamp is ten years. And the equipment should

be discarded as useless mandatory when reaching the life span.

Detailed installation steps as follows:
1) Put the fix board to horizontal position and fix it onto the embedded part (expansion
screws prohibited). (See Picture 1)

2) Connect the rotation arm firmly onto the fix board by using four groups of installation
bolts, and peel the red, blue and yellow green wires 10mm respectively, which are on the
outer side of the rotation arm. (See Picture 2)

3) Peel the red, blue and yellow green wires 10mm, which are on the balance arm side. And
use junction caps to connect the red, blue and yellow green wires on the balance arm side
to the red, blue and yellow green wires on the outer side of the rotation arm respectively.
Fix the balance arm onto the outer side of the rotation arm by using three M5*10 bolts.

4) The decorative hoop drill through the balance arm, and append the transom of rotation arm.

5) Remove the bolts on the outer axis cover of the balance arm, push the cover upwards, and
remove the fixers. Plug the curving cannula of the lamp holder into the balance arm,
replace the fixers, pull back the cover, replace and screw the bolts. (See picture 5)

6) According to the circuit diagram(See Picture 37) , connect the external power supply line
with the terminal in the electrical box , cover the lid, and coat the dustproof cover. Replace
the decorative hoop on the dust cover, its top is near to the ceiling. The power line should
be fixed on the wall or the ceiling by the cable clamp or line slot.
Notice: The external power supply line should conform to requirement of GB5013.1 (The
ordinary wear-resisting rubber protective covering cord or the ordinary PVC protective
0.75mm²² and goes through a fixed main
covering cord); the line diameter should be 0.75mm
power switch which can pass and break simultaneously; the switch should conform to the
appliance””(1972) (Creepage distance and
requirement of IEC328 "Switch of the Electric appliance

7) Using the Allen key to adjust the braking bolt and the functioning range of the balance arm,
until the rotation arm and the lamp holder can both be positioned arbitrarily and smoothly
within functioning range and feel light and handy.
2.4 Examine and debug
1) After connected to power, the power indicator on the touch screen on the electric-control
handle will be lighted. Touch“ ” to turn on the lamp, indicator light turn from yellow to
green, touch the irradiation adjusting button to adjust the irradiation. When the surgery

 finished, touch “ ” to turn off the lamp and then turn off the main power.
2) Rotate the light-focus handle at the center of the lamp-holder to focus and adjust the
lighting angle; the handle cover can be removed for sterilization, and the sterilized handle
cover is for manipulation by the surgeon. To avoid contamination, no other personnel
should touch the handle cover. (to remove the handle cover, push the button on the upper
part of the handle.)
3) If the fuse is damaged, please shut off the main power switch and remove the dustproof
cover and the cap of the electric box for replacing. (Should choose the fuse of specification
indicated on the inner label .)
5) If the surgery shadowless lamp is found unable to be positioned, please refer to
Installation and debugging---- step 7”
“Installation
6) Suggestion: a clean and wet duster cloth can be used to clean the exterior of the surgery
shadowless lamp, but liquid should not enter the interior, and formaldehyde or ozonated
water can be used to fumigate the equipment for sterilization, and use ultraviolet radiation to
sterilize; the handle cover can be sterilized in glutaraldehyde or being steamed at 134℃ for
20 minutes. Since users may be in a different country or region where the regulations for
medical sterilization might be different, please act according to the local regulation.

This equipment cannot be used where there’s an air mixture of flammable anaesthetic gas and air
or oxygen and nitrous oxide.
Transportation condition: environment temperature: -40~+55℃ relative humidity: ≤93%
atmosphere: 500~1060 hpa
3 Function introduce, Accessory replace and Problem diagnosis
Here we introduce the functions of each parts and the partial components replacement
operation of TOPLED series surgery shadowless lamp (Use the double lamp as the example)
3.1 The rotation arm part

1) First turn off the power. If only the fuse outside of the electric box is damaged, remove
it and then replace it.
2) If the fuse inside of electric box is damaged, remove the cover of electric box and then
you can replace the fuse inside of it. (Notice: The fuse inside of the electric box is 1A)

3.1.1.2 Replace the switching power supply (See picture 8)
1) When the switching power supply is damaged, screw off the junction cap that connect

 with the power wire and remove each wire that joins with the switching power supply.
2) Remove the bolt that fixes the switching power supply and then you can replace it.

3) Remove the bolt that fixes the connection holder and then you can replace it.

2) When inspecting the brush suit is damaged, loosen the bolt that fixes the brush suit and
then you can replace it.

3.1.2.2 Adjust the braking bolt (See picture 12)

1) The transom of rotation arm can rotate 360° around central axes.
2) Using the Allen key to adjust the braking bolt to insure that the rotation arm can be
positioned arbitrarily and smoothly within functioning range and feel light and handy.

3.1.3 The central axis group of transom：(See picture 13)

3.1.3.1 Replace the damper block, the conductive body and the scroll
bearing：(See picture 14)

 1) Remove the cover of transom. Please refer to step-3.1.2.1.
2) Remove the wire from electric subassembly which connect to the conductive circle
3) Remove the cover from the bearing pedestal and the central gasket.
4) Remove the stop gasket 48 and orbicular nut. And then you can replace the damper
block.
5) Take the transom subassembly (long and short) away. And then you can replace the
conductive body and the scroll bearing.
6) When replacing the conductive subassembly, please pay attention to the suitable place
of the red, blue and yellow green wires.

3.2.1.3 Adjust the balance arm
1) The balance arm can rotate 95° in the vertical direction and 360° in the horizontal
direction.
2) Using the Allen key to adjust the braking bolt insures that the balance arm can both be
positioned arbitrarily and smoothly within functioning range and feel light and handy.
3) Using the Allen key to adjust the weight hanging bolt can control the lamp holder up or
down (See picture 19)
4) Using the Allen key to adjust the rotation bolt of the balance arm causes the lamp holder

1) Open the electric-control handle box and remove the wire on the circuit board that
connects with the three-core plug.
2) Carefully pull the three-core plug and then you can replace it.

1) First remove the upper cover and the viewfinder. Please find the step of how to replace
the viewfinder for details.
2) Loosen the wire which connect the curving cannula and the lamp holder, Remove the
bolt which connect the axis of rotation of the lamp holder and the lamp holder.
3) Remove the braking bolt and the orientation bolt
4) Remove the block circle 30 of axis and the axis of rotation of the lamp holder, then it
can be replaced.

1) First open the electric-control handle box. Please find the step one and two of how to
replace the circuit board for details.
2) Remove the radiator piece and then take the lock piece out.
3) Remove the braking bolt, the junction caps of wire connection and the long curving
cannula. Then you can replace the damper circle and the needle bearing.

3.3.2 System of light adjustment
3.3.2.1 Replace the handle cover (See picture 27)
1) Press the button to remove the handle cover, and then sterilize it or replace it.

3.3.2.2 Replace the handle of the lamp cover

1) Press the button to remove the handle cover, loosen the fix bolt of the handle of lamp
cover.
2) Remove the handle of lamp cover, then you can replace it.
3.3.2.3 Replace the cover glass
1) Turn the lamp holder and loosen 4 fix bolts of cover glass.
2) Remove the cover glass, then you can replace it.

3.4.2.1 Replace the circuit board (See picture 39)
1) Turn off the power before disassembling the circuit board. And then open the
electric-control handle box.
2) Disassemble individual electrical wire and connectors that connect with the circuit board.
When operating, you should hold down the connection spot. Thus can avoid the circuit
board excessively distorting. When installing connectors, please avoid the similar
phenomenon as well.
3) Loosen the bolt that fixes circuit board and then replace the circuit board. When installing
the new circuit board, you should pay attention to the accuracy of connection.
